best freaking volume i ever read. it answered so many questions too. shit it kept me excited the whole time. i cant believe we have to wait until july to get 27
Damn, that sword of his is so freaking awesome. Dragon Blood + Fairy Minerals + Demon Slaying = Probably the most bad ass sword in any manga.
I love how this series has turned into an all out fantasy setting. It started out as a more Medieval -Gothic type thing. With all these demons, barons, feudal stuff. Now it has kind of moved away from that just a little bit and is in a fantasy setting - witches, trolls, dragons, dwarves, etc.
I think the old elements are still there, just haven't been touched on yet.
I have to be honest, Volume 26 was just awesome. This is why I put Berserk as my second favorite manga of all time, behind Lone Wolf and Cub. It was a great story and really concluded the Troll arc properly, and I was glad their was actually a reason for getting Gatts into that cave. Another thing I liked about it was that they didn't use the Armor as a teaser. They actually showed it in action in this volume and that was cool.
Nice to see that it took the form of Gatt's INner Feral Wolf demon.
I also can't wait for 27, but I will keep busy by reading Naruto, One Piece, Hunter X Hunter, GTO, Battle Royale, and Tenjo Tenge.

There is no other group that I have found that is doing scanlations. You can find the scans and the translations seperately of the newer chapters if you look for them, but the Hawks are the only ones doing scanlations.
Actually there are groups other than The Hawks, that scanlate each chapter of Berserk as it comes out, instead of entire volumes.

There's Dragon Voice Project for one. They've translated up to chapter 232 which is six chapters ahead of The Hawks.
a_nevels666, when i goto Dragon Voice Project's website i dont even see Berserk on their project list. Volume 27 isn't liscensed so im not sure if they only release it on mirc or something but if you have link post them. If the scans are not good i might just wait 6 months.

yes i know chapters are out twice a month in YA, they will be a part of volume 27 though when it is out in july. What i was saying is that only volume 1-3 is liscensed and on Dragon Voice Project they have direct links for their projects, but nothing for Berserk, and i dont see why not if they actually are doing it.
Actually I like alot of young animal stuff like Ai yori aoshi and Airmaster, also the babes are nice.

well lets be fair berserk is released weekly I think or bi-weekly either way its not like they don't show any of it they just only sub it by volume so we have to wait centuries
and yes Volume 26 was indeed badass

thank you for pointing that out L8r, i was too lazy to read through anything that wasnt in bold highlights.
*EDIT, ok i read one chapter to check it out. not that bad but he images are pretty small and i cant see all the detail. it wasnt quite as enjoyable as usual, I think ill wait for the whole volume or a group with better scans.
yeah, I got both the HQ and LQ of Volume 26 from the Hawks and I can't wait to see what will be Volume 27 from them.
I hope Dragon Voice keeps doing these because I don't feel like waiting till July to see what happens
