great chapter if you ask me, as with every other chapter, i don't think i've been dissapointed once throughout reading this manga, i've loved every page of it.
Is it just me or does anybody else see a resemblence in gutz and griffith? As far as leadership goes. The only real diffrence is that Griffith wanted to and people just naturally want to follow gutz. I mean.... Gutz doesn't want people comming with him but everybody he encounters just wants to follow him on his journey's. I have a theory that perhaps he'll lead some kind of underground resistance or rise another army against Griffith and the "new" band of the hawk, the way things are going i can definitly see that happening. After all before griffith use the old band of the hawk as a sacrifice they were all willing to follow gutz and accept him as the new leader of the hawk.
btw.... who thinks caska will get her memory back? O_O, i'm not sure if she would but i'm really getting sick of seeing how dumb she is lol.

But as i see it, Gutz have a stronger pesonality than Griffith because grif wanted others to follow him hence he also sucked up to people and was kind just to get people to follow him (even though he also had charisma needed)...
Gutz loathe everyone, yet they choose to follow him because his thoughts are however mad and bloody they may seem noble and pure.... well pure i'm not too sure about since in his eyes it's only revenge, but in others eyes, he is fighting the demons...
Well, i've never been bored while looking at the anime or while reading the manga... It's just the best manga ever.
About Caska, i'm sure she will get her memories back, but when that time comes, all hell will break loose in her mind, and i wonder if she will be able to cope with it. Hope Gutz will be able to be with her when that time comes...
Oh man how i hate Griffith, ever since the first eps when i saw him i really did doubt his kindness, his eyes are nothing to play with... Hope Gutz kill him baaaad.

I'm starting to wonder how much he is driven by revenge now... i mean, i know he still wants griffith's head and all, but maybe he's changed somewhat, and now people see him as someone who is strong, and noble, yet vunerable; and that's why they want to follow him, instead of griffith, who is just powerful and falsely charismatic...just a thought
lol when i first watched the begining of the anime i thought griffith was cool.... untill... the part where he uhh.... engaged in sexual activites with the one king dude to support his cause o_O after that griffith was on my must die list lmao.
and i bet there is a longgg while left for this series, its already been out for like 14 years or something. I somehow don't see a happy ending though, like griffith dies and caska gets her memories back and her and gutz go pracning into the sunset to get married. LOL
this is the one anime that i can not even think of how things are going to end up and i love it like that. I think gutz has changed a lot since being on his own, mostly because he has people he can count on again and thats changing his outlook on everything (gutz is getting softer) lol but he'll always be the cold blooded slaughterer of demons/anything. I can see him being the type to eventually give in to the need for power and losing site of his goals for strength. Officially it is gutts. Gatts came from Gatsu.
I use Gatts, Gatts was used in most fansubs as well, it just sounds better.
When will the next chap be out? Heard it was today, can anyone confirm this? And if so, about what time does it pop up?

I they porting over the Berserk game to the PS2?? Sword of Berserk: Gutts Rage was originally a Dreamcast game... the cut scenes were bad ass... the only reason to play is because of the story... the action while bloody is fairly basic untill the end... then it's kinda original
