Thread: [TW] or [ANBU-AonE]?

  1. #61
    hi im new here, I just d/led anbu-aone 1-10 bulk torrent(i started that last week btw ) Well after watching the episode I was like "wow, this anime is pretty cool." After watching it I got hype up to talk about it anyways i came upon this little topic and well I don't know what tw is but anbu translation is not great but it is still good enough to be enjoyable. There are some parts that i notice that they just make up but its not entirely their fault they mustve done it because as they say, "it lose something in the translation". But as in most asian culture this little thing becomes "it lose everything in the translation." I honestly don't know if anbu-aone brings episode out faster than this "tw" so I can't really comment on that. But some of your complaints about the translation isn't that great. Whether the sub says those spells/technique or not you will hear it. Am I not correct? also I have notice that if you look at the top of the screen there are spell that are written out the japanese way. Although I can't really say that they have done this on every spells/technique fore I am way behind and currently d/l 11-20 bulk torrent.
    But all in all, anbu-aone do some great work.

    well I just wanted to give my 2 cents and dime.

    p.s. I got 1 complaint(not to anbu-aone) zabusa fight in the mist was so burdensome I don't know if this was suppose to be cool or something but that mist effect just made it hard for me to watch the episode.

    I like how Anbu Aone is releasing them in 10 episode packages. If I have too many Bittorrent files dling at the same time my computer begins to freeze up for some reason, which is odd because I can have a torrent or two, and several simultaneous serieses dling on k-lite, and something over aim too, so i dunno what the deal is.

    BTW, i know this shouldn't be in this thread, but how do you guys get them signature/avatar thingy's of kakashi? i'm uber new at this sort of thing.

    ANBU-AonE's choice of words can really bug me sometimes. overeccessive use of words that can be much simpler (gai calling lee his "subordinate" or lee saiing he feels "mortified". stuff like that.) and i get bugged by the translation of the moves (calling kaiten: "whirl" ect. some still sound cool, like shadow replication, but i think some original japanese names should be kept) but im glad they got rid of that evil font

    but they are still the best subbers that are up to date. TW is better imo, but they are so lazy, who cares about them anymore

    im going to have to go wit ANBU-AONE bc they are faster in releases and i think that there sub quality is better then TW

    Used to love TW, but now that they've kinda paused in releasing episodes, I'd have to say ANBU-AonE. Even though some of their translated words bug me..

    </div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'>ANBU-AonE&#39;s choice of words can really bug me sometimes. overeccessive use of words that can be much simpler (gai calling lee his &quot;subordinate&quot; or lee saiing he feels &quot;mortified&quot;. stuff like that.) and i get bugged by the translation of the moves (calling kaiten: &quot;whirl&quot; ect. some still sound cool, like shadow replication, but i think some original japanese names should be kept) but im glad they got rid of that evil font </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'>

    Yeah&#33; I hated that Lee feeling &#39;mortified&#39; part, it just didn&#39;t fit the situation in my opinion. Ah well.. nothin&#39; I can do about it. Oh yeah, I hope ANBU-AonE releases their subbed Naruto 66-67 soon.

    Well heres an list

    [TW]=Totyama&#39;s World.
    They don&#39;t seem to bother in Naruto Anime Seeing that they didnt release a single fansub after about 40-50 something. All they have is there group packages that are remaining. But between Anbu-Aone and TW, i believe both are good qualitys, But in the long run, ANBU-Aone seems to be better. Bakasan, and the rest is okay, but the quality of the coding, the editing, and suchs doesnt compare. But you can get buy with just a few blurrs, Unless your a neat freak and need to make sure everything is at 100% quality. Then otherwise, download which ever. But some eps. from ANBU-Aone are cetinly better then the rest.

    TW encodes all the OP/ED themes at 30fps instead of 24fps like AA does. (The episodes themselves are encoded by both at 24fps) It&#39;s very easy to tell when you watch the 2nd OP/ED. The CG animation stands out a lot more (e.g. insects on shino, panning out from the jounins, flipping portraits). Also, the TW sound is less &quot;squealy&quot; in the higher frequencies than AA. Downside is that TW has slow releases.

    I would go with ANBU/Aone because i have seen all of their episodes. It is great quality, good subbing and no grammatical errors. I would give them perfect if you ask me. Toriyama could compare to ANBU/Aone if it came out faster, though one of the episodes I saw had an error. When they were starting the Chuunin Exam written test... the very first one. How Naruto would describe each of the nine characters. Just watch it and tell me if im right or not.

    I honestly haven&#39;t seen a tw fansubbed eps. I started with anbu-aone and haven&#39;t swayed to this day but i did hear that tw&#39;s yellowsubs are easier to read when compared to anbu&#39;s when viewed on the tv but i don&#39;t care since i watch the eps on the pc anyhow. i guess it boils down to personal preference.
