Thread: [TW] or [ANBU-AonE]?

  1. #41
I prefer the ANBU-AonE, beacuse their faster than TW, and their subbing is
so much better that you can't even describe it..

the TW and Anbu-AonE encodes are pretty much the same quality.

and the translation isnt that different.

i prefer Anbu-AonE for a reason i have yet to find. but i did change to Anbu-AonE after i had a problem with some TW eps so... heh

credit to TW for using some of the japanese names for the jutsu's when they are used

more credit to ANBU-AONE for their consistency and speed

i think both subbers should be proud

I actually can't say TW is better or Anbu-Aone is better cause it's been a while since I watched TW's Naruto. I DID however, hear great things about TW and that's awesome, but I'll just stick to ANBU-Aone and voted for them. Their quality is great as well and for no apparent reason I like aone.

anbu has muy excellente quality, i prefer bakasan's overall though, early releases + more accurate translations are what matter most to me, quality isn't that far off on bakasan's either, he just doesn't have all that cool text effect stuff goin on.

    I swear to [ANBU-AonE]'s name!

TW better quality, but this latest ep (62) with the larger file seemed to be awesome. I noticed on other eps the sound quality was kind of lacking, this one came in full and clear, i love anbu even more now

ANBU&AonE show the Japanese names of the moves (When Naruto shouts Kage Bunshin no Jutsu you see that spelled, with the translation at the top of the screen). That's the best thing about them, TW only shows the translated name.

Then again: TW's subs are MUCH easier to read than those thin AA subs, and TW translates more background symbols.

As for me: I collect both

Well i like TW's subtitles more but since anbu & aone are working hard to get them so quickly that'll be a *YAY* for anbu-aone *YAY*

I Agree,TW has better quality but are 2 late...

I don't see a point in downloading a TW episode when they are so unbeleivably so far behind you don't even wanna watch the episode anymore.

i plan to keep a collection of all the naruto stuff i have, so thats why i like to get the TW's even though ive seen those way back. Sometimes i do go back to the older ones to introduce it to people who havent watched the series yet, and it will make a nice addition to my massive media system

I started watching TW b/c that was the only thing out there when I first found the series (at least the only good one) then I hit a point were ANBU/AONE came out with the stuff and was one HELL of alot quicker then TW so I switched and never looked back

i wonder why anyone would like TW when you have Anbu and Anime One =D

Hunh... I'm not sure where most people got that TW has higher quality than ANBU-AonE?

Are they talking about sound quality?

cause, I dunno, I think, in general, ANBU-AonE is better quality, in terms of video quality. And, on top of that, they release way faster, AND their subtitles are less obtrusive. The yellow subtitles are annoying, because they add colour where there should be none. White, because it is colourless, adds less to the scene, and leaves it more like how it should be normally viewed.

But I'm surprised No-one mentioned Saiyaman and Bakasan's subs. Cause, the quality of those subs was superior, in terms of video quality. It was WAY better. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the fact that Bakasan used an external program to add the subs afterwards, kind of like on a second layer, I assume, whereas TW and AnBU-AonE put the subtitles in, and then re-rendered the entire thing, which results in a loss of quality. I'm not sure if it's changed now, though, but it hink Bakasan now uses lower quality, and realone, for his releases... So yeah, It probably isn't relavent anymore. And the subtitles themselves weren't as good, since, I think, Only Bakasan did all that stuff, and released it really early. But the video quality was awesome

So, like, I would say, ANBU-AonE is definetly best right now. To me. But I don't judge on sound quality, so if you do, you might have a different view.

easier readability means you can read the subtitles faster as well, thus giving you more time to watch the actual scenes. I wouldnt care if there's a little more yellow in a scene if thats what it takes to read the translation faster.

Their translations are more accurate, but time is a huge factor, what episode is tw up to now? 45?
