I googled afterwards because I can't be bothered finding the episodes, not that I'd remember which episode it came up in. It's much closer to 8 than 30.
My impression/memory from watching the series was also a lifespan much shorter than 30.
Naturally, look it up at your own risk.

To save from spoilers, the time limit is 13 years from ingestion. That is why Grisha had to give his titan to Ehryn when he did. He ate the owl on the wall, infiltrated the big walls, and had 13 years to complete his duty before passing it on. Just long enough to have a kid and raise it a bit, then be eaten by him.
I hope somebody keeps track of neflight's Eren-variants.

Why are you so stuck on calling him Eren anyway?
Peace.
episode 79:
Omg, hahaFantastic episode. Eren with some serios Light-energy. <3
The "Attack titan can see the future" is bs outta nowhere, ofc, but it's done so nicely, I allow it. It's so weird, creepy and cool how it actually makes sense that "past" Grisha can see and interact with future Eren and Zeke ... he knows Eren's future memory, so he "sees" how they're observing him in the past. Blows my mind thinking about it, haha.
Ofc, the biggest bs is that apparently time is a fixed matter in this world. Only then is it possible that an Attack titan-bearer would be able to see the memories of his FUTURE bearer. If time wasn't fixed, there'd be no way for this almost-time paradox to happen. I say "almost", because impressively there is no paradox as of now, despite some time travel shenanigans. Most stories with time travel fuck it up.
The actually biggest bs, of course, is Ymir and whatever power is even allowing Eren and Zeke to travel Grisha's memories. Is Ymir a literal goddess that can just do "magic"? I don't like that part, makes everything else kinda trivial, because why not do this or that when you can work magic. But it's the final season, so I'm not gonna question it too hard now.
Anyway, good episode, but I hope they can bring it to a satisfying end now.

What I found weird is that the Attack Titan bearers can only see certain memories - so who or how controls what it sees? It explains Eren Kruger naming Mikasa etc in his final moments, but for example - Grisha should have known that Freida can't be convinced so he should eat her anyway.
It's weird how it works, but anyway.. this is pretty damn tight.
The question is then, whether Eren sees his future if he is the final Titan. I assume he'd see other futures if he wasn't, but then the same logic applies - how much does he get to see, and who's deciding that?
Actually, now that I think about it, did he already have all of this worked out when he connected with Historia the first time? Remember that time is infinite and instant here, so he could visited all the memories and worked out the secrets of the Paths World all those years ago. Maybe Eren connecting with Historia is the sole reason that the Attack Titan holders had glimpses of memories - because during that moment he gave all the relevant people the flashbacks required. I didn't think he was that mature then but.

I think the reason why Grisha didn't know he had to eat Frieda was that he only know Eren's memories from when Eren was alive. Eren exists in some weird afterlife-like world right now. Grisha knew from living Eren's memories that Frieda and the rest have to be eaten. But when he arrived at the scene, he couldn't do it. NOW, dead Eren takes action in his "present" time and encourages Grisha to do it. You know the rest.
The question is: What state is Eren in and will he be able to return from there? Assuming he doesn't just stay in Ymir's afterlife, and assuming that I understood the attack titan bearer's future sight correctly, there needs to be some sort of "cut" so that it still all makes sense, otherwise Grisha would indeed have seen what he had to do already. Maybe, and I'm just throwing out this idea, Eren did die, but by some Ymir-shenanigans, he's being sent back as his own attack titan-successor. Just a random idea, though.
Also: Why did Frieda look like female Eren? Total genderbender, lol.

Hey numbnuts, that's not how foreshadowing works. You don't understand what it is until it's been explained. But Erin has had weird flashes of shit in the past. They started out as a mystery. Then explained to be his dad's memories. And now explained that they weren't all the past.
Kruger knew of Mikasa before he turned Grisha. At that point it was hinted that memories were not all from the past

Thank you!
Here's me being concerned at the time about "time shenanigans". So they've been foreshadowing this for at least 2 1/2 years. That was pre-timeskip.

Who is Kruger?

The spy who turned Grisha and gave the attack titan to him
You need to watch a recap or something.

So, turns out that guy does a pretty good recap, and I'd also forgotten that the one time Eren manifested Coordinator powers was when he punched Dayna-Titan and got a glimpse of royal power.
