Episode 75
---------------
Pieck making everyone blush while waving her arms at Jaw Titan in the crowd to show him she's tied up. Brilliant.
Interesting that some random titan came to rebirth Zeke. I thought initially that Levi made himself a titan to ensure he gets to take over Beast.

Disappointed that we didn't get any action in the last episodeThat was super lame.
Now waiting a year. Ok.
Honestly, it feels pretty meh. They should have communicated to fans earlier that this actually wasn't gonna be the end, but only half the final season. Would have lowered my expectations.
"She's the only non-loli girl in the show, your honor!" will be my defense in court
There can be no greater pain than knowing I one must wait months for the next episode... except perhaps, this actually being the last episode, so I am grateful.
Lets start it where we ended it (or vice versa?), right here in Shiganshina! I'm certain that Erin's plans to be free still involve pretty much killing the rest of the world that would stand in his way, so I can't say Marley is entirely unheroic right now, their vested interests aside.
I wonder if Armin crying was because he felt Zeke's/Yelenna's plan was somewhat noble, and he knows deep down that replying on a person with Erin's temperament would doom such a plan to failure? As if he is crying to say 'I'm sorry you pinned your (our) hopes on him'.
Any chance we'll get the Jujutsu Kaisen team to work on the last part of this season?

That lower jaw regenerated back into the very titan that came to regenerate Zeke.

It's that time, boys...
I really hate to see it, but Levi was pegged as a dead man seasons ago so I'm not surprised. His death is too juicy a narrative device in a show that has so much character death. It still hurts to witness (though he'll likely come back since Hange saved him, but I don't expect him to be much of an action player going forward with how mangled he was). So even Zeke is still figuring some of this titan stuff out, not knowing how he resuscitated.
Marley is putting up a much better fight on the offense. Piek MVP with the "Boom, headshot!"
Commander went dere on Gabi, cute.
I want some clarity as to what Erin is scheming for- his personality is 'take on all comers' and 'kill his opposition', which got him baited into a fight he's now losing, but he still hasn't taken actions that will give us the flashback to his meeting with Zeke, so there's another potential turn awaiting.
The pain of seven days is real.
Serioulsly! nefligh, are you trolling? Sorry, but imo it is 100% guaranteed that Levi is NOT dead and will return, maybe even as a titan. That was the most obvious not-dead scene ever
Great episode. Lots of fighting, then lots of drama. I currently have one big fear: I want Eren to win. I want fucking Marley to lose, be eradicated and have Eren triumph. But with how it's presented, they make Eren out to be the bad guy :/ It's Death Note all over again.
Btw it's dumb how many Eldians are dying from being shot by Marleyan soldiers. Wasn't there are shortage of Eldian fighters already? They must be super close to being eradicated. Plus it sucks how easily they get killed, come on, they're more experienced fighters than Marleyans, even if not with guns, then with moving around and outmaneuvering them. At least make it look believable, not this sitting duck-style killing.
Anyway. The worst kind of wait has begun anew.
PS: If rumors about this season not showing the final final end, but a movie coming afterwards, they better tell us NOW rather than ending the season on a cliffhanger and then announcing a movie ...

I agree with Armin that Eren is just pretending to go along with Zeke until he gets his power. What I'm not sure of is what he plans to do with it.
Eldian empire? Sterilization? I could see him doing either.
But...if the power gives him so much control over the Eldian's biology that he can just sterilize every one of them across the world...what ELSE could he do to them? Turn every Eldian into a titan shifter? Extend their lifespans? What?
Remove the titan shifting ability.Originally Posted by DEX
btw, that was Ymir repairing Zeke there. If these are all subjects of Ymir, she's there somewhere. That titan healed Zeke "on its own". Something bigger is at play.

Have "the paths" been mentioned before? Kinda expecting some bs twist now lol.
Anyway, I stand by my two hopes:
- Eren wins
- Marley gets fucked (especially Gabi)

They were mentioned before. I've forgotten the extent, but yes.
Probably around the time when they mentioned the how the royal family controls titans, and how one of the previous kings always exerts his influence on any royal family member carrying the Founding Titan such that they're always pacified.

I thought the paths were the 9 shifter titans.
Now that I think about it, the last time I remembered Paths being a thing was when old Attack Titan dude told Eren's dad about the future.. then he went "why did I say that?" before transforming the dad.

Episode 77:
What was up with the blonde guy's scary face at Armin?! Didn't get that scene at all, lol.
Otherwise great episode, lots of plot and lots of stuff happening. I guess the one thing that's a bit frustrating is how Zeke and Eren could be way more successful if they acted more strategically. Zeke was way too inactive, just standing on top of the wall for most of the time. He should be throwing nonstop, especially at key targets like Pieck. And Eren needs to stop his zombie-like walk forwards and just deal with Rheiner and the smaller titan first. Not sure why Eren is walking so slowly, either, he just needed to regenerate fully.
Gabi with the very late realization.
I assume Eren wants to eat Zeke to obtain his power, eh?

It was to show her potential distrust towards him. What was up with the blonde guy's scary face at Armin?! Didn't get that scene at all, lol.
Throwing uses energy, and he needs to priorities throwing at people going for Eren. When you're throwing at someone, you're not looking out for the others. He should be throwing nonstop, especially at key targets like Pieck.
He's tired and doesn't have enough energy to regenerate properly. He did his Warhammer Titan Spike move many times to save his ass.And Eren needs to stop his zombie-like walk forwards and just deal with Rheiner and the smaller titan first. Not sure why Eren is walking so slowly, either, he just needed to regenerate fully.
Eren needs to touch Zeke. The whole point is that they have a Royal Blood person who can use the Founding Titan power (or vice versa). When a Royal is ALSO the Founding Titan, they get brainwashed by the Sage/King. Eren eating Beast just becomes Eren with a another titan power, he loses out on the Royal aspect.I assume Eren wants to eat Zeke to obtain his power, eh?
Theoretically if Royal Blood is all that's required he can use Historia, but I don't know if their plan requires the Royal to know what they're doing (or cooperate).
