To block and to use his tatsumaki on the fishmen. He has been sandbagging ppl with his ittorryu. Makes for more intense build up for an actual fight.

Wasn't thinking the Sharingan but... Have we seen Hawkeye since he trained Zoro?
It could have been a gift (if now hawkeye is a DF user or born with a unique set of eyes) if he got beaten by Zoro
