If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
Frau's character seems to be more interesting and less annoying than anticipated, but recent development haven't been exactly keeping me in the edge of my seat.
Still don't know what to make of this show.
Whynot - Episode 08

That Gendo followup was awesome.
And Kai confirmed to be weak against cute girls. (like most of us I suppose?)

WhyNot - Robotics;Notes 09
-----------------
What a downright cruel episode.
Realistic and harsh. After nine years of work, they end up with robot that had been outdated for nine years. Maybe worse, because the hobby robots from her sister's time worked better.
Perhaps the most cruel were the words that her sister told her and said to her colleague. "Whatever you do, it'll always be ordinary," and, "It's quite different from my plans though. Just a pile of junk." I'm really beginning to wonder what happened to Misa during high school that turned her from an optimistic dreamer into what she's become today. It's probably related to Kimijima.
Frau was fun in this episode. She made advanced bots for her Poke-com, but she's truly enamored by Airi/Sister Centipede. We've never seen her quite that emotionally engaged before. She certainly seems to love her mother's anime as much as Akiho does, just in different ways.
Onee-chan is pissing me off, what a fucking bitch.
Question: Does the stuff Frau says in Japanese really translate into all this geek-lingo? lol, gtfo, wtf, etc. ?
Kinda. It is more like internet slang than geek lingo, though I do believe the two overlap as well.
Peace.

The JAXA engineer (Tennouji) is absurdly cute. She's like Akiho's future self.

Years of awkwardness fixed in a single episode, yep that's anime.
This one was better than most. Jun is still terrified of robots. Her hands were shaking (badly) and she still didn't get too close to the thing.

Frau's definitely not as bad as she first seemed to be.
I liked Frau and now I love her.
She has waifu potential but I still leave the VIP seating for Morgiana.
Kona is pretty adorable. She had a single-minded focus to preserve her mother's name, reputation and legacy at all costs. Now she finally found a way to live for herself a little while still doing that, angry internet comments be damned.
It was endearing scene where she asked him to listen to her story while she laid on top of him, probably mostly so he look her in the face as she cried.
Her declaring her intentions right in front of Akiho was something else, something I didn't expect from her. She's crawled out of her shell in more ways that one. Akiho's confused (and literally hair-raising) freakout provided the perfect capstone for the episode.
Kai really goes all out for the two women he has a fondness for.
The brainwashing capabilities of the Committee is freaking scary. It was comprehensive and fast, and for all his assistance, they kill him anyway. Makes me wonder what will keep the main cast safe from them. Hard to trust anyone not in their immediate circle, and that includes Airi or the store manager.
Kona's definitely grown out of her "I use geek-speak for the lulz only" character from the viewer's perspective, I still rank her behind the Jun, who is behind Aki.
