But ... how does it make sense for Lisa Lisa to be Jojoīs mother? Does that mean this Jojo isnīt really bloodline-related to the first Jojo? After all, the baby that Erina saved happened to be some random baby. Iīm confused.

Erina was pregnant when she saved the baby from the ship. Those two children grew up (or not) and Jojo was born to them.
Stroheim is awesome. He saved me from depression this episode.

Well it took so long to finish Cars that there was no doubt he'd survive. But the UV-cannon had be laughing out loud on sight, so talkative Germans have their merits after all.
I didn't realise Jojo's dad was a fighter pilot. When he was mentioned as a pilot before, I just assumed he died while piloting a passenger place (assumed he wasn't all that tank), and wondered at the mismatched Lisa-Joestar couple image that was in my head.

I thought the "only other way" to defeat an Ultimate Being was to become an ultimate one yourself as well. The legends said that the stone was the key to defeating Pillar Men, so it makes sense for it to play a role that way. As things look right now though, perhaps Jojo needs to hit Cars by bursting a ripple through it.
I don't remember Jojo leaving some seed inside the chick he promised to go back to.. and I doubt he hit up Lisa Lisa on the way here.. perhaps Lisa Lisa was also pregnant with a child when she left and secretly brought him up?

Anyway I really dug the soundtrack for this episode, and the frame animation was impeccable. Fucking Stroheim man, making me love Nazis every time.

Not only is this a great final battle, having Jojo fight as a pilot, akin to his dead father. But Stroheim playing a deciding role in this final fight, too awesome. Man, I just love it when an author has the guts to give positive attributes to an otherwise bad person.
A little OT, but does anybody know other anime with such themes? I mean, where a fascist/racist/homophobe/sexist/rapist guy is one of the good guys? Always thought that hero characters in all of fiction, not just anime, are way too black/white, and nobody dares presenting a main character that has some dark touches (though murder doesnīt count. thereīs way too many anti-heroes who murdered. thatīs kind of lame already).
Fixed that for you. Though, while Jojo would have an excuse, his mother would be a real sicko.

Still better Space segment than 50 episodes of Space Brothers.
The only scene where I couldnt help but shout out aloud "Bullshit!" was when Jojoīs hand came flying towards Carsī neck. wtf?!
Anyway, fantastic finale for this arc. Damn, I loved Carsī smug grin when he shook off his shell.
And I honestly expected Jojo to die ... I mean, realistically, he should have. Surviving crashing into the sea like that, lol.
Other than that ... if Germany had had cyborg soldiers like Stroheim during WW2, you can bet we wouldnīt have lost the war lol.
As for the preview ... itīll be hard for the new Jojo make me like him. He looks like a douche already. But ... Dio
