They tried to make this episode poignant, but that's pretty hard to do when you don't care about the characters on either side of the battle.

Mifune has said 5 words in the whole series, and Hanzo has never appeared outside of flashbacks before.

It was a pretty strange episode all in all. "I don't remember you, oh you were that Samurai that I made a huge deal about? Guess I should have remembered that." There was basically no fighting either. On top of all that, this is the guy that beat the 3 Sannin by himself? I expected just a bit more out of him...
