TV: Hulk
I had mentioned previously in this thread that there were rumors of a possible Hulk tv show being planned, and it's apparently by the ABC network and it does have Guillermo del Toro attached to it.
Here's a little update, I hope this happens:
"'I have had a couple of minutes with Marvel since 'Avengers,' and they have the screenplay, he said. We're waiting for a particular writer to do a rewrite on the pilot. That's where we are right now. But we're still on.'"

Thoughts? Do you think they might try to tie it into the current movie continuity, do something alternate to that continuity?

If GdT attached, it has a good chance of being awesome, though it depends on how long he is directing/producing the show. I doubt he'd do it for more than a season before his attention is drawn to some new movie or project.
But the budget will also determine where this show goes. Will it be a huge CGI fest with a CGI Hulk smashing CGI environments? Or will the story concentrate more on the Banner story?
And of course, a hot Betty Ross will go a long way to drawing in viewers.
“For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?”

if previous attempts at Hulk are any indication, im not too hopeful. But i do love my superhero's so it would be nice to see another good superhero show.
They can take a page from Smallville and go more character centric. A good story doesn't need alot of CGI smashing, and if the writing is good, it'll draw viewers and result in a bigger budget for later seasons.

Here's hoping Christopher Nolan isn't the only director who can make an awesome superhero movie that is more than action and special effects (please don't try to tell me the Avengers had more than that). I love the Hulk story, so I hope they finally do it justice in a movie.
