I knew Sanji learned how to Moon Jump!
Of course, it was kind of obvious that's what he was using when fighting the Kraken, but you couldn't be sure because he was only underwater.
So...does Brook just straight up have mind control powers now?
Rather slow-paced... Why do we care to see Robin and Nami pull off the same moves they've used since before the timeskip?

I don't think the final boss and the lieutenants have ever before looked this weak compared to the Straw hats, though I suppose that was fully intentional since this is basically their first fight against new enemies after the time jump. So things being as they are, I wonder how big a role Vander Decken's grand trick will actually play in the final suspension instead of Hody's core crew.

I would argue that Buggy and Co. looked weaker in their arc. And considering this is basically the Buggy arc of Part II, it seems fitting.
To be honest, when the series first started out, Luffy was actually way stronger than anyone he fought in the first several arcs. I would say it wasn't until Crocodile that he met an enemy he actually had to struggle to defeat, forcing him to start getting stronger between arcs.
Prior to that, he didn't seem to actually get stronger, he just displayed more of the strength he had at the start of the series with each stronger enemy he faced.
Well, I might have forgotten a few bosses, but before this it was at least possible to imagine the enemies could do something to hurt them and/or some of the crew were already quite compromised, like during Nami's arc where Luffy nearly had to learn how to breath water and Zoro was half-dead already after shaking hands with Mihawk. Now it seems very unlikely indeed with Hody ready to piss his pants and his lieutenants simply too stupid to realise they don't have even a cotton candy's chance in Chopper's hand.
I'm sure with enough steroids the villains will at least be able to give us the illusion of tension.
Too bad we won't anymore see Luffy with borrowed shark teeth. That was priceless back then.
