But this isn't a musket era game. There could easily be dozens of lines coming from a fully automatic gun. Multiply that if there are many opponents. It's easier for him to dodge or never to get shot at in the first place.

Yeah, if simply creating an account in ALO and porting it over to GGO would automatically grant a pretty boy avatar, then nobody would be offering millions for it, I reckon. They would just first create an account in ALO themselves. It can't be so expensive considering the number of players. Kirito was just lucky, and why wouldn't he be; luck seems to be one of his major skills.
