I'm guessing he'll grow neutral through a couple more arc, and then go filthy badass once Chrome Disaster kicks in.
Probably just wishful thinking but i'm rolling with it for now.
It's a good thing no one actually had to pay for this game because it seems horrendously broken. It's all for the sake of the plot of course but still, I feel like they could have made move stealing a more prominent risk that all characters face but could easily avoid if they were careful and had Noumi outsmart/psychologically manipulate Haru into a situation where he let his guard down and got his wings taken. The way it was presented makes Noumi's avatar seem like the most broken yet a) he's one step away from 'The power to have all powers' and b) the ability to permanently (or semi-permanently if people get their powers back if Noumi replaces one of his 5 and discards theirs) is unheard of so far in the game and seems to have even less of a place than Chiyuu's healing.
Well every main character is kind of broken.
Imagine you're like the most OP melee fighter of all time and have been fighting that way all this time... and then some faggot shows up with the ability to fucking fly. I'd be pissed yo!
I see what you're getting at but I'm willing to view flying as a form of enhanced motion. Everyone can move, some players can move in enhanced ways. I see Flight as reasonable in the same sense as I'd treat a power that made a character super fast reasonable, it could be argued such abilities are ovepowered but I don't think they violate the established principles of the game world. On the other hand Noumi's power violates the principle of atomic interactions between players. In every other case we've seen the only lasting thing connecting two players after a match is the exchange of points. Leveling up and gaining new abilities is something that happens between player and the game system itself. Having players able to trade powers between themselves, voluntarily or not, would be fine as a mechanic but something like that should be integral to the game rather than only given to random users.
I agree with that assessment. Noumi's ability is out of place in the Accel World rules. Those rules are extremely bendable as shown so far, but this is really pushing it.
Peace.
UTW - Episode 16

lol. 2th day..
Sky Raker's cool too (stop tempting me away from Kuroyuki), but at the same time the fact that she's probably nice to everybody makes her an impossible target.

If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
That was some master Roshi level training right there. The opening doesn't seem to hint to any other events but at this rate things should be resolved fairly quickly.
Also, dat Sky Raker.
Finally an episode where the pig actually does something decent.
I hope the blackmail guy suffers a horrible death. It would be absolutely absurd if he turns over a new leaf. I won't be satisfied without him losing all his burst points and getting beaten half to death in real life with a shinai at the very least.
Peace.
I'm hoping that when Sky Raker gets over her issues with Kuroyuki, she rejoins the legion. I don't know if it would be better if she regrew her legs or not (or if they really are gone forever). She seemed to indicate that her jumping ability improved dramatically thanks to her self-developed training. It's not like she used to get to 340 meters and now caps out at 350 meters, it sounded more like she could only jump 200 meters or something.
I do wonder what else she might bring though. Jumping in a parabolic arc doesn't sound that useful, but she obviously doesn't care too much for the fighting. Maybe she can make very fast horizontal leaping attacks too.
I'm glad Haru learned something totally different from finding an alternate way to "fly". His piercing stab will be a lot more useful overall. In fact, he might be able to do substantial damage to armored types like the Blue or Green Legions. That landscape got damaged during the fight with the berserker armor, but it didn't get superheated or vaporized by a piercing strike. It's also a very fast strike, so it matches up nicely with Kuroyuki's swordplay.
I don't think he learned a piercing attack. All that was just to enable him to learn incarnate, which should boost all his attacks since they are no longer bound as tightly by the system.
Peace.
If he could crush stone normally, but can now punch holes with superheated rims into durable metal (and therefore armor) that used to hurt his hand, what exactly makes that *not* a piercing attack?
What I meant was that isn't the point. The piercing part was just to symbolize his ability to bend the system rules. He probably won't use it on enemies since he has always been using bare fists to fight, not blades.
Peace.
I just noticed, Haru is Neo!
Episode 17

FUCKING DISEASED RIDDLED WHORE! MOTHERFUCKING BACKSTABBING SLUT! BITCH! BITCH! BITCH!
I don't even care that this is all an obvious ploy on her part to get the wings back, i hate her.
This whole arc is stupid. It is filled with idiotic plot devices.
Ryll was right on the piercing thing, but how they used it is really stupid. It doesn't even really pierce, but smashes things instead. This has suddenly turned into Dragon Ball where shouting makes you stronger.
Peace.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
Yeah, that's pretty dumb. It's pretty amusing that an attack clearly animated to be piercing strike smashes limbs off (when it should be cleanly slicing them) and a punch-generated attack like Subaru's Divine Buster from Nanoha StrikerS is a piercing attack.
Japan, you crazy.
This arc is painful to watch, but the three of them (yes, Chiyu's trying to help, retarded as she is about it) have to resolve this before Kuroyuki gets back. Imagine what she'd do to Noumi if she found out what he'd been doing, both in terms of tormenting Haru in secret and abusing the game in the first place. He'd end up in tears, suicide leaving a note blaming her entirely, and then she'd get expelled. Perhaps rightly so, after what she would do to the little shit. :3
I had hoped it would get a little better with them standing up to him, but the biggest two problems remain. Noumi only has to play when he wants to (he's still somehow invisible to the match-list), which is just pure bullshit. Worse, how he's admitted he's part of some type of Successor Secret Society ('The only ones who know about the incarnate system are the kings and....us [his group]' and 'That's only what the first group calls themselves...[we're superior in every way]'). A group that looks down on everyone else, possesses an overwhelming superiority complex, and appears only because the author didn't particularly know how to create another group of antagonists between the berserker armor and when the main characters start killing off Kings to get past the endgame.
edit: The whole concept of a "first group" and a "SECOND group" is retarded because the first group is still growing (Haru, Ash Roller). I'm interesting in how the author breaks his own universe's rules to accommodate for this revelation.
