Did Chihiro want to die? Or WHAT in the seven heavens made him talk like that to Reaīs father?!

That whole scene was completely stupid. Chihiro had no prior knowledge to him being half-Zombie, so itīs pure coincidence that heīs still alive. Also, Iīm wondering how exactly this half-Zombie status works. He was stabbed through the abdomen. Did they establish that being a Zombie gets you regeneration powers?

At last I feel more confident now that Wanko might end up as part of the final pairing. I mean, since Chihiro mustnīt deflower Rea ...

That's what he said himself: That his pain receptors were offline. The blade must have hit somewhat nonvital regions, although the bleeding got worse towards the end.

What else could he have done but make such a speech? He's a zombie otaku, so refined rhetorics are probably out of his range, yet he had to try to get through to the old man somehow. And he succeeded, so I don't see the point of wondering why he did it. The only thing he failed to realise is that the man would actually be willing to become a murderer. Considering how carefree Chihiro is by nature, that hardly surprises me either.

Bit of a strange way to end things... but i guess it works.

I enjoyed watching this though, it was weird and creepy but also felt real. Felt somehow meaningful to me.

I would like a second season of this if they keep a moderately strong focus on the whole zombie issue. Things could go downhill really fast for Rea.

They ended it in such a way that allows, even requires a sequel.

Quite an open end, but I wasn't expecting anything else. This wasn't a bad series, even if it concluded very little. The characters at least were mostly interesting.

Just finished this. And for all the comic relief and creepiness, there was air of depression hovering over the whole show, which basically said "this cannot last forever." However, the ending was more of a "positive" and gave "hope" that this could actually last a lot longer than expected. It seemed to me like her heart beat, and then she went in for that bloody kiss...I'm gonna go ahead and say that she can prolong her existence by actually drinking blood and eating flesh.

Your freedom is parasitic, you suck the honourable man dry and offer nothing in return. You who have enjoyed freedom, who have done nothing to earn it, your time has come. This time you will stand alone and fight for yourselves. Now you will pay for your freedom in the currency of honest toil and human blood."
