yep, turns out metal collars around the neck are great news for Kuvira, not so much for whoever is wearing them.

Episode 6
--------------
I think little aang was a better fighter than Korra. Holy shit she sucks
It's funny how every time Korra seems like shes getting some sort of character development, when she gets to a point where she really starts to seem mature, the writers slap her in the face and drag her back down again. I kind of feel sorry for her at this point.
Also, Varrick has redeemed himself finally. I look forward to seeing more of him.
I hope to see Toph kick some ass next week.
nope!
clip show...
1st one is the godawful lovelife of Mako. 2nd one is a bit better, but still narrating what we already know. the 3rd one is the actually funny one, although not enough.
sig made by Itachi-y2k5, thanks, dude!
Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.
You know the important distinction between Batman and me? Batman is fictional. In real life, there isn't always an alternative.
For a flashback episode, not too shabby.
And for anyone wondering why we got such an episode:

That actually was a really entertaining clips episode. The only bland part was the Korra Sucks Sobfest and Immediate Turn-Around. Korra really has become the least interesting character. Her emotional rubber banding is not remotely believable.
Thankfully, the Mako, Korra, and Bolin Summary Sandwich has tasty bread.
Nice article too vejita, thanks for the link.
Editing and narrative intercuts is how you make good clips episode. Chihayafuru always had good ones, Korra has had a pretty good one. When compared to the average anime clips show...these are great.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, I will never forgive Wolf's Rain for its four recap episodes in a row that are just scenes pasted together.

Nah that was a pretty water trash episode
Episode 9:
------------------------------------------------
YAAAASSS. My only regret is not letting the episodes build up and watching the season straight through. So freaking good... I don't know how they're going to wrap everything up in one last episode though, I feel like there's too much left to be done. Hopefully they do an hour-long episode.
They will air episodes 12 and 13 together on Dec. 19th if thats what you mean.
I was honestly expecting Zaheer to betray Korra. I guess his hatred towards the establishment overrode his desire to kill the Avatar. Or maybe being disconnected has changed him over the years. Either way, I was surprised.
Bolin continues to annoy me more and more. I get that he's trying to repair his relationship, but acting like an idiot is not helping. It's like the writers are trying too hard to make him funny.
Rofl, years of psychological trauma resolved in 10 seconds. Stellar writing!
Episode 10 is out.
Am I the only one that really wanted to see Toph completely waste Kuvira? But, she is really old, so it's understandable.
Curious to see if and how Korra manages to raise a spirit army to fight with her.
I was less annoyed by the fact that we got a clip show than I was by the fact that it was a relationship clip show. The thing it was recapping was all the different romantic plots of the show.
Which is a huge waste of time unless it's all leading up to the Korra/Asami coupling we all know should happen.
The fact that she'd even try shows that she still doesn't know shit about spirituality.

Episode 11
----------------------
Wow.....I did not see that coming. Can't they just get a bunch of metal benders and just tear the legs apart or something?
series ended!
too much excited about the final scene to say something about the robot or the general zig-zag vibe of the season.
final scene! final scene!

I might have not liked this show nearly as much as the first one but an actual Lesbian ending? Not bad

Felt kind of underwhelming. The colossus fight was good, but the actual one on one fight with Kuvira wasn't very epic compared to book 3's final fight. It felt the whole situation with Kuvira was resolved way to easily. I don't mind how it was resolved so much as how long it took for her to convince Kuvira what she was doing was wrong. Otherwise, the wedding was nice and I'm glad Asami managed to find some closure with her father.
Looks like Asami is closing up with her father and opening her legs to Korra.
Wooo! Korrasami!
*ahem* Anyway...
The villains in the 3rd and 4th seasons felt anticlimactic compared to fighting the source of all spiritual evil in the 2nd season. Vaatu should have been the final boss of the series(and honestly, I thought for a moment he might come back when all that destructive spirit energy was released in the spirit wilds).
Took Korra long enough to figure out that she could spiritbend the beam with the spiritbending she learned several episodes ago.
I don't understand the significance of the new spirit portal. I was under the impression that the spirit world and the real world merged at the end of convergence. But apparently there was still a separate spirit world and it was still full of spirit so...I dunno.
