New rep colors, and another forum upgrade

lol, that made me laugh. It's not a game where you can "level up" through your own effort, it's dependent on what people determine to be a good post and is totally voluntary. The system isn't as active as it once was nor was it ever used for the intended purpose. It became a tool for circling jerking and e-penis status.

But I do complement the effort to improve the forums.

yeah, the light green->dark blue transition is a bit jarring. Maybe a lower-intensity version would ease that up a bit...

I could have a look at the colours this coming weekend. Green/blue is obviously no problem to differentiate under most circumstances; it's the blue/blue difference that made me seek quite glaring shades.

Alright. The darker blue has been adjusted slightly. Dunno if you need to refresh your browser caches manually to see the change or if it refreshes after a while automatically. The new blue was judged better by a statistically significant group of two people and thus deemed an immense success.

Naturally, after a while you won't remember how bad the old blue looked like and can start to complain about this new one as well.

The new blue is still a little jarring when combined with the green, but it looks much better than the older, darker blue. Thanks for changing it.

Will changing blue for yellow do much good? Or will that look too much like a yellow card?

We decided against yellow because yellow means evil.

If you don't like blue over green then level up faster, biatch!
