anyone know which subgroup is best to watch this series in? o.o (honestly dunno which one has the better subs/video quality)
Underwater is definitely the best choice, in my opinion. I hate HorribleSubs.

very well, i'll take up your guys's reccomendation and DL all 3 beginning eps. (waiting for the 4th one to be subbed by them) then will just wait for the 15-17/18 "Batch" of MiraiNikki from GotWoot (will settle for gotspeed for now and rewatch when woot is out @.@)
I think they release a new episode every Tuesday. Underwater, that is.
It's dangerous to go alone. Take Nep.
it's all good, i can wait, (rather watch it in about 2-3 xtra days for a better quality version) the anime is progressing rather well though, can't wait to see what the 4th ep. has to offer >_<
Tomorrow?! I don't have no time to wait until tomorrow!
"Leaving hell is not the same as entering it." - Tierce Japhrimel
i can wait it out lolz, and the story...with that glasses girl's death...is the start of it all o.o the thing that bothers me is, if she was originally heading one direction, why did she "turn around" and ran the other way? when she coulda just ran forwards towards her original direction? perhaps if she did that she coulda avoided the "accident"
I'm assuming it's because she saw Misaki, which she couldn't see before. And because of the legends (and because she knows more than has been revealed), she became terrified, which caused the natural reaction to run in the opposite direction. I'm sure if she had acted more calmly, that particular accident might not have occurred. But it's too soon to claim she could have avoided an accident altogether, since we are still unsure of the circumstances.

Sooo...just got done with watching the 4th episode of the series and...i did NOT expect the whole Elevator incident. and kinda weirded out how Sakakibara's sister got all pissed about that bird (suspicious) also rewatched the 1st 3 episodes and noticed at the beginning of ep.1 that damn...and there was a body flowing down the river, not soo after.."random" clips began appearing, and believe is the order in which they will die (semi-significant clips), i noticed a closed umbrella clip with a sharp long edge as its tip, the 3rd clips afterwards, was the elevator (with the 7th floor highlighter still not sure if this might hint at something or just a random floor), afterwards a yacht (seems Misaki is on it), afterwards, Fire across what appears to be a flower-field (look the background of the fire), next is what seems to be a speeding car, afterwards are a bunch of what appear to be "random clips" but if we can assume these beginning clips are hints of how they die (such as the umbrella/elevator clips) then perhaps someone may make something out of it, what i also noticed was they keep showing the Hospital and what appears to be a Mansion, in one of the clips there is a fence-sign that reads "Do Not Enter" (was shown after the hospital clip), followed lastly by that weird funny loveable lil Bird, so notes so far i have noticed on Ea. Episode are:
Episode 1: All stated above/the Class Officers of "Countermeasures" state who and what they are but give "no explanation"/Misaki Appears out of the blue on the elevator and heads to B2 (Basement 2 which is the Mechanical Room/Boiler Room/Morgue )/he notices Misaki sitting at the corner of the class/he asks Sakugari about Mei, her eyes instantly widen (so we at least know she knows who Misaki is or at the very least her Name)/Misaki claims she never met Sakakibara in the hospital or says is unsure all the while questioning him wether the class has said anything or not/fills him in that Class 3 is "close to death" and will soon find out (that and not to go anywhere near her)
Episode 2: Starts off with Sakakibara approaching Misaki regardless of her previous warnings/Misaki questions him as to why and if he's ok with still interacting with asking him to be careful claiming "it" might have already begun/ in the art Class Mochizuki (the artist of the lemon painting) claims the lemon is NOT the one screaming, but rather the world and is simply "covering its ears" to shut away the sounds, this can be interpreted in many ways, feel free to make suggestions/Sakakibara and Mochizuki talk about the feeling of uneasiness "enveloping" the world/ Teshigawara (guy who shows up at the time duh) shows up and makes comparison saying he felt that way when he finally made it to 9th grade ONLY to end up in the "cursed" class 3/ Sakakibara ditches Teshigawara and Mochizuki to converse with Misaki who happened to be drawing/ along the way when Sakakibara goes to the Hospital random "elevator" clips pop up showing the Elevator is in movement and shows it going down stopping at B2 (someone is heading here, whom?)/ Sakakibara finds Misaki in the doll shop all the while the old lady claiming she has "no other customers"/Misaki begins revealing whats underneath her eyepatch slowly taking it off
Episode 3:The eyepatch turned out to be an "artificial" green eye/Misaki states the shop is owned by "Kirika"/Random clip of "Kirika" stating she has "No other customers"/Misaki claims to Misaki fills Sakakibara in more on the story of 26 yrs. ago confirming the name of the person was "Misaki"/Newspaper clip stating "Sudden Explosion of Random Murders on the Street"/Sakakibara is conversing with one of the officers when he notices Misaki shortly leaving the guy to head towards the roof where the sign reads "Entry Prohibited/ Sakakibara's Phone goes off being called by Teshigawara (you notice the Class Officer next to him hinting he told him to call Sakakibara seeing how he most likely did not have his #)/Teshigawara claims he called Sakakibara because he was "in trouble" shortly after static begins to break the call and makes the statement "Don't involve yourself with things that don't exist" Promising to tell him the rest of the story later on/ More Random Elevator clips this time going upwards towards floor 6 and appeared to have kept moving (maybe it was heading to the 7th floor? maybe it was nothing?)/Sakakibara proceeds to "interact" with Misaki questioning why the entire class (including teachers) act like she.../Sakakibara gets cut off by Misaki as she states that she "does not exist"/Sakakibara recalls what Teshigawara told him/Misaki states no one can see her and questions Sakakibara "What if you are the only one who can see me?" ("WHAT IF?")/short after Sakuragi sees Sakuragi "interacting" with Sakakibara, for some reason freaks out and has an "accident" causing her Death
Episode 4: Starts off with recap of episode 3 along with new information stating that "at least" 1 person from class 3 (or connected to a person from class 3) will die per month/Turns out Sakuragi's Mother Died the same day she did (her reason for getting off school early in the previous episode was due to the fact a teacher went to tell her about her Mother's Death/The Nurse has lunch with Sakakibara and states "Fujioka Misaki" was Misaki Mei's Cousin/The Nurse talked to her younger brother (who also attends Class 3) stating he does not think the "accident" was truly an accident/ Sakakibara goes off once more about how the class told him not to interact with "things that don't exist" stating Misaki Mei claims nobody in the class exists (yet Sakuragi was clearly able to see her which led to the accident)/ Sakakibara Meets up with Amayama (girl with the black cap) starting an average conversation when suddenly a gust of wind blows tilting the glass near the truck that was meant to fall on them if not for Sakakibara's quick action of pushing Amayama out of the way not shortly after Amayama starts freaking out stating she does not want to die/ Sakakibara goes once again to the doll shop noticing a rather young woman walking up the stairs of the studio (perhaps a worker?)/ Sakakibara once again walks in having the same conversation he's had with the "Kirasaki" (the old lady) stating she has "no other customers"/ Sakakibara walks down towards the basement to once again meeting up with Misaki/ They converse for a while making it clear Misaki did not attend school that day and that class 3 believe "it" has begun/ Sakakibara asks Misaki how the class has been doing (since his absence due to the accident and recent check ups), she states they are terrified and that at the start they might have only "half-believed"/Misaki states that despite all the warnings Sakakibara received most of them (the students) probably did it out of "caution" not truly believing in "it" but that she is now 100% sure "it" has begun/ Misaki gives Sakakibara yet "ANOTHER" warning questioning how much he knows and if he truly doesn't know anything, shortly after stating that he is better off that way or else...(he interrupts asking what happened in class 3)/ Misaki avoids the question with a question of her own, asking Sakakibara if he will attend school which he confirms/ Misaki states she should not attend then if he is to go to class, Sakakibara questions her as to why, and yet again she avoids the question with a simple "Be Careful"/ Sakakibara has a decent conversation with his sister filling him in more about class 3 and just whom of his family members attended "Class 3" shortly after shouting at Sakakibara when he asked a simple "why" as she makes a reference to the "bird"/ Sakakibara heads to class the next day and as Misaki stated, she skipped class/ Sakakibara calls up Teshigawara meeting up with him soon after asking why he has avoided his calls since he promised to tell him "everything"/ Teshigawara states "stuff" came up in which Akazawa (Officer with the blue ribbons) interrupted/stepped in stating "the situation" had changed/ Akazawa blames Teshigawara for "acting on his own" and making things "complicated"/ Sakakibara asks if they want him to make as if the promise "was never made" which akazawa confirms for the better of the class which Sakakibara quickly agrees to being interrupted by a phonecall from the Nurse)/In the background you hear Akazawa scolding Teshigawara stating if he's "realized" what he's done and that they have "enough problems" as it is/ The Nurse questions Sakakibara wether or not the person "Misaki Mei truly exists which he confirms with a "yes she does."/ The Nurse asks if she's nearby which Sakakibara answered that she didn't come to school that day/ Sakakibara questions the nurse as to why she asked which she states she had a conversation with her brother last night in which he refused to talk about the incident which took place 26 yrs. ago or the incident last week/ When the Nurse mentioned the Name "Misaki Mei" her brother's demeanor suddenly changed and said "What are you talking about? There's no girl like that in our class!"which he was stubborn about stating he seemed pretty serious/ Phonecall begins to get some some static cutting off, resulting in the elevator accident leading to the Nurse's Death.
(P.S. Will Edit this if need or if any of you state some misspellings/misconceptions, for now...i look forward to new theories/predictions/assumptions and what you guys base them on, let the detective game...BEGIN!...or something >.O')

I started reading some of that... but....
Is the entire post a recollection of OP scenes and episode recounts, or was there a theory/opinion thrown in there as well.. I couldn't find it.
Anyway, the doll-house lady always had her glasses reflecting light and never moved an inch, as far as I could tell. Add that with her identical remarks.. and it looks like you have a doll-operated store-assistant.
Sucks that the nurse died. I liked her, and she was the only person Kouichi could talk freely with (and also advance his knowledge at the same time). Now it's a dead end.
Why?
Why?

I think that the doll-house lady is a doll too.
The woman he's living with definitely knows a lot about the incidents, but if he told it to main character she would probably endanger him, or it would lead to escalation of the whole case.
Now probably the Head of Countermeasures will tell him at least the bit of truth, i hope.
everytime someone dies in this show i'm singing 'Another one bites the dust' song

i have not yet thrown in my theory/predictions, simply stating most of the main facts to see what people can come up with, specially from the starting clips in episode one, like i stated, they probably weren't "random" clips but hints @ death, [Highlight for spoiler]I personally read the Manga, so i'm slightly ahead thus i already know most of the facts and can tell most predictions are already wrong, that said i'm waiting to see who hits bulls-eye on the story so far, in all honesty ALL the facts needed to come up with "the truth" are in everything i wrote, you just really have to think well (i can't join in the fun mainly due to the fact that i already know what happens and thus would be correct and somewhat "spoil" the fun, regardless the truth is there, just slightly hidden in the "small parts"), that being said...still waiting on more people (or those who have already yet made a theory to remake one)[end spoiler]
if by the woman he's living with is referring to his sister, and she has already stated that her sister (and Sakakibara's Mother) attended "Class 3", that also said only people from class 3 know what go on in there, not to mention if a student is currently attending there, their relatives are also in danger, thus it's pretty safe to say his sister "too" attended Class 3 yet does not want to recollect what happened during her stay there (ep.4 for reference during their convo)
(P.S. is replying to a 2nd Forum Member also count as double post? i just didn't wanna mix up the 2)

Yes, it's double posting. Reply to everyone at once, or edit posts.
Talking about the accuracy of prediction if you read other materials is also spoiling, you don't actually have to specify which or how to count.

I'm hoping this series has a "Nice Boat!" ending. Not only because I pretty much dislike every character except Mei, but also because it's a horror story. True horror stories don't have happy endings. In my opinion.
After the ending of episode 3, I wasn't surprised by the sudden drop of the elevator in episode 4. In fact, I had expected that something would happen to the nurse. The only question is: Was it because she is a relative of someone in class 3, or was it because she was sticking her nose where it didn't belong? And on that note, since Kouichi suffered from his collapsed lung, does that mean he is immune to the curse? Or is he immune since he's interacting with Mei/provoking the curse/oblivious to the history of the curse? So many questions and we're still not getting any answers.
As much as I am liking this series, I definitely feel like it's best watched all at once.
It's dangerous to go alone. Take Nep.
I'm divided on that myself. I'd say it's because she's the relative, mainly because she's been digging around for quite some time now already. Could be both though..Originally Posted by Al
While I'm not sure if being in contact with Mei grants him immunity, I certainly don't think his collapsed lung was his "death sentence", if you will. His dad even told him that it wasn't all that dangerous as long as you had treatment. When he first got into Class 3, the rest of them were kind of sickly and prone to accidents anyway. Someone had a sprained ankle, for one.Originally Posted by Al
Besides the timing of the issue (what's the significance of this month in respect to Mei's death and how long will this "event" last), my biggest curiosity is why the Countermeasures girl insists that Kouichi's been in the town (or went to school) there in the past. What did she see in him that made her think he's not an outsider?
What annoys me about this series is how everyone thought (and still thinks) that it's best that Kouichi was left in the dark. GREAT IDEA. Look where it's getting you. >_>.
Stupid people. (I'll take these words back if they reveal past experiences where letting everybody know turned out disastrous, but until then..).
All the Countermeasures chick has done so far is take days off as well. What does the role bloody do?

Same thing annoys me - yeah just leave new guy in the total dark, and blame him for not following the rules that no one explained to him.
