Ok, well, now we know why Kanna likes Kaito, that´s that. I guess Ichitaka is your generic, mysterious alien girl, so she doesn´t need any other reason for why she likes Kaito.

Some completely different topic, though: I really hope, Renmon (or whatever Taiga is called here, lol) joins the love drama at one point. Otherwise, she´d be just too much of a plot device. Being in the shadows all the time, laughing like an old lady. Though we´re lacking male options at the moment for that to happen. Then again, it doesn´t add up anyway. Assuming that Kaito and alien-girl get together, we´d have Tetsuro and Kanna. So that´d leave the option for some lesbian relationship between Mio and Renmon, fu fu fu.

Taiga? Wtf are you smoking? She doesn't act like the Toradora Taiga, isn't voiced by the same seiyuu either, since you appear to be deaf if you think that Kugimiya Rie and Tamura Yukari sound the same. Remon isn't a tsundere. Nor does she act like the only other notable Taiga, Fujimura Taiga from FSN (again, not the same seiyuu).

If you're going for the, "they're both loli characters, lol," you could not have picked a worse example. Had you gone with Furude Rika (who is coincidentally voiced by the same seiyuu), you might have had a decent case. Or Akai Ringo from Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi. Those two at least share the same personality type as Remon.

As for Remon's personality, watch Onegai Teacher and especially Onegai Twins. You'll understand. That's what they're going for here, utterly intentional. Either it is the same character using a fake name here, or she is particularly meant to evoke that character in every way possible. That's what my major point above is about.
