It was cute.

A nice cameo VA by Inoue Kikuko, but they made it clear that whoever of Ichika's space culture landed there, it was a long time ago (to avoid copyright infringement...), and the memory of the lake was indeed some genetic memory of one of Ichika's ancestors. The MIB thing was pretty funny too, perhaps Ichika's initial fears were justified. Seems that Remon really was just slacking off from her normal job and messing around with the lives of students for her own twisted amusement when work fell into her lap anyway.

The very last scene was a nice gesture too, making it a happy ending.

That said, Tetsurou is a dumbass. Kanna is telling him to get together with Mio, who openly admits with no embarrassment that she would gladly accept, and he just hangs out with them both as friends. He needs to give it up, Kanna doesn't like him that way, and Mio does. We know he likes Mio at least a little too. Plus Mio has a better body, and her newfound confidence is fantastic. Kanna isn't going to be hurt by her best friend going out with a guy who also happens to be one of her friends, and whom she has no romantic feelings for, she's at least stronger than that. Tetsurou is too self-conscious about Kanna thinking she's a third wheel. I don't think she's ever seen him that way, and she'd be happy for her childhood friend and best friend.
