Ugh, womens´ football is even worse in anime form, lol.
But I´m looking forward to the new Phi-trick, haha.

Alright, just caught up myself.
I'll enjoy Mai's fangirlism even if it'll ultimately be futile. She's more aggressive than Seven during normal hours, so I'm glad Seven still gets her time alone with Kakeru during their night practices to catch up.
The main attraction of this anime at the beginning was the unconventional focus on the striker being stealthy and pretty much reading the intentions of the "king" almost telepathically (as opposed to the usual fare of exotic techniques, super-rush or cannonball kicks), but quite a lot of that's been lost now.
Oh well. Looking forward to seeing what can be added to the already-absurd-phi-trick.

Next ep is the last ep?!
Well, I can't say I'm sad to see Area no Kishi finish.. but I'm rather disappointed that this turns out to be the final arc, and we won't see the tournament to completion.

well, is it "last episode" as in "last of this season", or is it confirmed there won´t be another season? Anyway, at least I won´t feel obliged to keep watching this ... well, turd.

Well... that's that, huh?
The final credits reminded me that despite my hate for the wtf-psychiatrist, her appearance (as well as Leonardo Silva I guess) had a role in expanding some of the "psychological" issues in this show.. and the lack thereof has now shoved it down the path of some run-of-the-mill soccer anime.
That said, I don't dislike soccer anime, and even ones like this make my life a little more enjoyable (Mai and Seven anyone?). If there's a second season, I predict I'd watch it until it completely turns me off.
