- spending one fourth of the episode on a boring match between two random teams. As if watching Nanaīs match wasnīt tiring enough.
- Nana fanservice. Hey, what does it feel like to witness how all of your team colleagues would love to fuck you, lol
- NOT SHOWING THE TSUJIDO-VIDEO! What a cheap tease. And itīs a bad tease, too, since itīs breaking the 4th wall. Everyone got to see it, except us, the audience. sigh
- Kakeru doing his feint training inmidst of a crucial match. wat. Thatīs just idiotic. Captain Tsubasa did it right, in the match where Nita copied Tsubasaīs volley shot. Kakeru just looks like a fool, doing some generic training unit while his team tries to survive.
- Arakiīs mom waits 3 hours to get a piece of cake? Yeah, well, now we know why Araki became fat.
- most dramatic reaction to a broken leg ever? I think so. Lol, this guyīs face, as if his girlfriend was being raped by Griffth in front of him ...
- and lastly, his cannon shot, bending the metal fence. lol. This show has such trouble deciding between realism and artistic freedom.
Oh, and one last big sigh: ANOTHER cute girl has appeared that seems to be ANOTHER soccer goddess. Why not just kill all soccer players above age 16, kill all uglies, too, while youīre at it, and have Nana and the new girl play 2 vs 11. Theyīll win anyway ...

I was simply amused that we finally met a team that's well and truly evil sounding. The preview makes it sound like they're playing pinball with the ball before shooting it in.

To me it seems more like they use the throw-ins as a major attack.
Suppose you have a player able to throw the ball at high speed and precision anywhere near the 20 last meters.
Suppose almost all the team, if not all the team runs full speed towards the goal.
Suppose any of these running guys can volley-shoot that throw-in... what can you really do about it?
Free-kicks, throw-ins, corners can be the most thrilling events of a game, so I hope they'll make good use/depiction of those times when a game can totally change.
After all there's anticipation, inner fights, preparation and everything is settled in under 60 seconds from the kick.
But I fear we'll have 20 minutes explaining non-nonsensical non related things, then some appetizing images just before the cut for the next ep where nothing interesting will happen again.

And then we had the scene where Nana grabs Kakeru's hands after she sees Suguru. That pissed me off too.

Something I really didnīt get: How exactly did Enoshima seal away the laser beam-throw in of Kimu-kun? So they trick him into one yellow card, and ... so what?
And whatīs this three seconds-crap? So instead of supporting the team and defending the goal, Kakeru spaced out, stood away from the immediate danger and waited/hoped for the others to clear the situation, so he could start a counter? Wow, nice plan ... that depends 100% on luck.
Also, as dumb as Suguru-mode is, itīs ten-fold as dumb when other people actually notice THAT it *is* Suguru-mode, lol. If it was just a reaction like "wow, I didnīt know Kakeru was that good", but no. They watch him and think "omg, that is Suguru! Whatīs going on?!".
They pretty much made the judge perceive Kimu running across the field to take a throw-in as being a time-wasting measure, so now Kimu can only take throw-ins when they're near him. I think it only works since they're short on time, so the judge will give him another yellow if he thinks that they're wasting time by asking him to do another throw-in instead of letting a closer player do it in a more timely manner.
That's pretty much it. It's basically putting more resources into future-planning and taking a bit away from the immediate danger. I don't disagree with him though, because in such a packed group of 10-vs-10 the odds will be due to chance anyway. I can't see any co-ordinated method of saving this besides frantic clearing. 11-vs-10 wouldn't have made much difference IMO..
On the other hand, having a striker being ready to counter from the get to does.
I think Suguru was well known enough that it's fair to say that they recognised his style of play. He wasn't just any good player. It sounded as if he was the best in his age-group Japan had. I'm not too caught up about that. To be honest, after watching the entire episode, I actually enjoyed a little Suguru-play - mostly because it didn't matter at the end since Kakeru was responsible for the play that actually mattered.
Talking about Kakeru scoring points and such, didn't he still look at the ball when he did the mystic feint? And they didn't even show it.. how cheap.. I can only guess that it was the over-head backward lob.
Tsujido's loss turned out to be a bit emotional for me considering they're Team Evil. The overall match really was pretty tense.
And the sound effect of the net when Mako headed the rebound sounded like it was Mako's spine breaking against the goal post, lol.

Well, seems like everyone in this show is insane, except for coach Iwaki.
Also, I want this show to be about Silva and Suguru playing together against strong teams. The golden duo of Nankatsu! Oh wait, Suguruīs dead :/
And nice, attempted rape as a closing scene for this episode.
Next episode another Seven-match, ugh.

He let Araki get fat because it was good for him. He's not entirely sane, but is the better of the lot. I actually think Seven's pretty level-headed about all this. Perhaps she could be a bit more.. protective for herself, but soccer geniuses seem to possess some effective anti-rape weapons.

Ugh, those Nana-matches are sooooooooo boring to watch. The presentation of actual soccer in this anime is weak as is, but then having to bear those matches with teams full of no-name characters is just terrible. Not to mention the amazing non-team work, lol.
But Iīm happy for coach Takeda. Hope weīll get a spinoff- hentai anime series called "Takeda 11 Love Love Paradise" :/
So they finally removed the handicap on Araki now that they're in the official tournament. I wonder why they keep starting Kakeru on the bench anyway.. They always end up using him for goals.
I have no idea what the snoopy journalist is doing. He's giving off some really bad vibes, but in the end what did he find? Japan's female ace has a bf and they practice at the park?
