Christ, Cana's tragic backstory is like the stupidest most self-inflicted thing ever...
"Where's Master? What happened to the exam?"
Dumbest bitch ever? I used to like Cana's character due to her design, which was made even better with the white outfit. I can "sort of" get into her story and all, but the way she completely went off on a tangent (and some of those wide-eyed, turn-off moments this episode) puts her into the "yes, but no thanks" category now.
Her attack was cool, but the music has more to do with that than anything. It makes anything cool.
I wonder what the deal with Fairy Glitter is though. If it's on par with Fairy Law, why don't you just get Fairy Law? Their 2nd master knew it and could easily just pass it on.
The 3 great magics of Fairy Tail.. now I wonder if they're all from Mavis, or if the 3 greatest spells are spells developed by each of the three masters to date:
Mavis: Fairy Glitter
Vermilion: Fairy Law
Markrov: ??????
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
It's not even like she overheard Gildarts saying "One day I hope my kid becomes S rank" or "I only respect S rank wizards." She decided, completely on her own that she wouldn't tell him until she becaume S-rank. So her impossible objective needed to keep her life from falling a part is entirely of her own making, and she could literally just stop whenever she wanted to.
To add to her list of failings, she also completely misunderstood Gildarts's character - and the whole guild to boot. Of course it was understandable she was in the very beginning taken aback by Gildarts's high status, but surely she should have over the years seen he's not a man who would only respect those with lots of power.
What a stupid episode (apart from the ending). Cana is Gildarts' daughter!? Or is she wrong and it's someone else!? Well if it's as it says I think it's retarded. Cana really did turn into an annoying character.
