God Slayer's kind of.... eh. It makes sense... but it just feels kind of cheap. I'm never too find of match-ups where Natsu or another dumber you-wanna-piece-of-me! type character gets put into the same fight.

Assuming the guy isn't just talking out of his ass.
In order to be a God Slayer in the same way that Natsu and the others are Dragon Slayers, he would have to have been trained in magic BY a god in order to fight other gods.
Of course, who's to even say gods on this world are stronger than dragons.
I'm surprised he's still considered the successor considering he's, you know, expelled.
This Zancrow dude gives the kind of an impression that Purehito taught him the lost black flames magic and told him it's the best thing ever and even Salamander won't compare - and Zancrow bought every word just because. Then he probably went out and beat some noname mediocre enemies and believed for good he's the toughest man ever, even though he likely can't make any relevant comparisons. In short, a very useful tool for Purehito.
Well, to be fair, we already know Natsu can't eat them. So he's got that going for him at least.
I wonder what they're made if. So far all the different colors of flames have been powered by something-or-other.
