Hody one shotted again, and Oda teaches us that racists and jihadists are bad people. It looks like Luffy blew half of Hody's body off though.
The Fire Fist Rifle was pretty cool. A nice way to pay homage to Ace. Hopefully, Hody stays down this time, so we can finally move on.

Wait... why did Hodi explode?
I assumed because of some combination of the "armor" haki and Luffy's gear 2nd. I think its a fair assumption because of the name of the attack, the explosion was at least intended by luffy, and not a side effect of the drugs.
Hodi is down for the count, would be anti-climatic to have luffa debut a new attack just to have jodi come back. They
will now just focus on saving the island.

I know it says Fire Fist Rifle in the translation note but shouldn't it be Fire Fist Pistol? Luffy didn't twist his arm after all. Makes more sense to name it Red Hawk if it's a pistol anyways.Originally Posted by Marik
