Because when Luffy fought those villains, the viewers had no idea how far he could push himself. So those fights didn't seem so easy at the time. But over here, we are fully aware of how weak the new fishmen pirates really are compared to the strawhats. In spite of Luffy lucking out with his DF abilities, Enel posed a far more serious threat to the strawhats in general than either Bellamy or these New Fishmen pirates. I don't understand the comparison...
