These little nitpicks amount to ruining the whole fucking experience for me. Guilty Crown is so damn frustrating to watch, like a well of potential that dries up with each episode.

If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
Voice actors are great. At least most of them.
Some images are great too, there's some quality at times.
Other than that, I don't know.
All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.
Shu riding into battle on what amounts to a segway...
/facepalmed this entire episode
Even if the visuals, music, and cast are impressive, the rest of the show is garbage. Why do I keep watching? Same reason people gather around a car to watch it burn down to the frame, morbid fascination.

Thank the Lord this shit's over.
Only good part about this finale was Slutty McSlut getting shot, but then she lived
No amount of booze can make this enjoyable. None.
And believe me, I tried. It's been a long time since I tried to watch this series while sober. It doesn't help that much. This episode...not even 100 proof helps.
The only good thing about this show are 4 songs, songs that would have existed anyway without this show.
...
There is nothing good about this show.
Peace.
I disagree with the idea that there's nothing good about this show. It's a mess and I can't see myself recommending ever for its flaws - but a handful of characters and Inori/Shu's relationship had enough charm and enticed enough curiosity that I watched regardless. I was genuinely sad when Inori left for good.
Storywriting was horrible.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
It's a story.
Peace.
Well that ending was like the rest of the show. They rushed the story leaving massive plot holes all over the place with someone desperately trying to figure out how to write them off later. I didn't hate everything about it in the end but I'm with everyone else on never recommending this. Even the epilogue answered absolutely nothing its just like here is a scene of who we figured should live the end.
True.
When I think about it, my response to this show is much less harsher than to the UBW movie, which also suffered from a rushed story (and being incomplete, leading to wtf plotlines) while displaying great visuals.
So if those things cancel out each other, I'm back down to character charm - which was something that a 2hr movie had trouble bringing out as it tried to condense the entire story down at the same time.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
I think a large part of that UBW disappointment is due to the level of expectation.
GC gradually decreased that on a weekly basis, and at the end you know what exactly you are getting.
The only character I liked was Inori, and only on the shallowest design level.
Peace.
Gai was definitely right..... He should have said "You all don't understand" instead of just "You/Shu." Because then I can be like.... you are right Gai, we don't understand wtf is going on at all in this show.
Average side characters that only looked good because of the contrast with the horrible main characters and story.
Peace.
I'm talking about the good looks
and they looked good, no matter what.
