Why....
Why is the full version inferior again?
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
I don't care much about the OP/ED but what about the background music, are they on the disc too
especially the one during the time when they showed Sugar's Void for the first time.. "the one that cuts life"
If i'm not mistaken it is featured in ep18 too, when Inori turns into that "monster."
So Voids are fragments of Mana's heart? That's the conclusion I came to, after watching this episode. Additional backstory on Gai seems to point to him being an antagonist all along, although hesitant at first. Now we understand what that Daath kid meant about "You collected so many already" (presumably talking to Gai) a few episodes back.
There are several things wrong with this anime that people have already pointed out, but I still find myself anxious to see how it ends. I'm actually rooting for world destruction and rebirth, Eva style. It probably won't happen, but still.
I love the ending image, by the way,
It's dangerous to go alone. Take Nep.
It would be redeemed if Shu absorbed Mana's corrupted soul out of Inori as a Void and then just crushed it in his fist.
Unfortunately, this episode makes Mana a slightly more tragic figure than we were previously led to believe. We knew she got corrupted by the stone, but it's not like she was always into having sex with her little brother (well, in a way she was, since he didn't exist before she got exposed). She just had the bad luck of pricking her finger on the meteorite. Otherwise she had just been the cheerful daughter of two academics, doomed by a chance occurrence related to her father's work.
That doesn't explain eyebrows-kun. Apparently he's like some supernatural manifestation of the malignant, deific apocalypse virus. Eyebrows-kun != Daath btw. So we have no idea what the hell they are. I guess they're an organization (similar to SEELE in Eva) from that conversation the old geezer had with the samurai chick and the fat guy. It's probably supposed to be "Da'at" and you can certainly see why. Sephirot...yet again.

So.. does Mana want to fuck Shu still, or Triton now? >_>
From the explanation about the Void Genome, it seemed to be the magic bullet out of all this mess, so I'm surprised Shu can't get rid of the cancer/virus, or at least control it such that it is no longer malignant. Guess he needs some cool-factor though.

Now i'm sure that this series has 3 writers:
- one introduces new concepts, writes clustered story
- cool guy, that tries to make everything cool, and fucks the story hard.
- awesome guy that writes the rare good parts of this series. if he was in charge of making whole anime it would be great.
Author #2(coolguy) has finished his part and concept guy took over this time.
Gai ran away from facility that wanted to create mate for Mana, he escaped from that fate. after that he decided that he wanted to be her mate, after that he formed resistance movement to get void genome(while fighting against his father!), then he died due to Mana(he was fighting against his 'fate'), then he got resurrected and now he wants Mana again and is reunited with his father...
so he had what? 4 radical personality shifts? bad writing is bad.
This series should be split into 3 different ones:
- one focusing on resistance movement fighting the Organization controlling japan(the health organization)
- Typical shounen focusing on void genome powers.
- Dark story following people inside the lockdown in Tokyo(school arc).
1st and 3rd series could be intertwined, but adding the 2nd one messes all of them.
Number of works of fiction that made me shed at least one tear: 3Thou seeketh soul power, dost thou not?TOX: 33524385841A92B08787EEBEBA2DB51ED293C4F15A2E292F3F C92165E82388281433A77EA8FE
I smiled every time Haruka-mama got mentioned. Daarth still confuses me somewhat. Is he a representative of the organisation, or is he somehow a manifestation of their will?
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
He mentioned something in the line of the will of mankind on evolution or something. I smiled when Mana came out. I like Mana's design aswell as Inori.
Thanks shinta|hikari for the sig.
I have to say that I really liked the music in this ep.
They're not even trying to make sense anymore are they?
So the only reason.. the only guarantee that Mana is this so called Eve who needs her Adam for the evolution of humanity... is because she's super-strong and will wipe everybody out. Is that right?
I don't get why Keido was farming for Adams neither. Mana already wants Shu. It's not like she's bitch to whoever her Adam belongs to...
And the Void Genome was supposed to be the way out of this mess. >_>

Where did Shoe's big red ball of doom even come from? Am i missing something?
