While I feel that I know the characters better in S2, it didn't end up being any less confusing than the first series. The first had me more confused about who's who and why they're doing xyz, while the second one had me confused about exactly what goes on in the battles (especially the naval ones).

But it's one of those series where I can let it go over my head and just enjoy it for the action and characters, so that's what I do when it happens.

It is a very confusing anime that's for sure but I love it. Plus now we have to wait for the third season which I am pretty sure they will get.

Just watched the first series, and quite enjoyed it... share pretty much the sentiments of everyone in the thread. Kinda wish I could've seen Tori in action before he got the "upgrades" in the later episodes.

In any case, plan on watching the second series in the coming days.

This show climaxes really well. A lot of stuff is boring, but if you manage to tough it out til the end, you are rewarded with awesomeness.
