8th pays super duper attention to accuracy of translation. He also grades fansubs (specifically translations) on 'liberal translation,' 'difficulty' and 'overall quality' scales. Possibly important for translators who need help picking a series.

Well, I try to be as unbiased as possible, and I have rated "my groups" lower (UTW Tamayura so far), though I don't join groups with inferior translation skills in the first place.

There are about 3k views so far without a single complaint. I think that in itself gives credibility to my ratings, because pretty much anyone with "B-" or lower knows I can back myself up with side-by-side comparisons like AnoHana or Hanasaku Iroha.
