I was hoping this wouldnt become save karakura town 2.0, now we have to watch all the captain pwn these noobs 3 chapters per fight.... again, the Kenpachi part was nice, i`m sure Kubo will fuck it up and somehow make the old man still alive so we can drag this shit even more.

That said, what the heck's going on, anymore? Multiple characters that were getting built up suddenly scrapping all previous development and becoming "lol evil?"

Here's what I think is going on:
Obviously the Fullbringers helping Ichigo was a ruse. They wanted his fullbring powers for their own. At this point it seems to be because Ichigo's FB pretty much takes everyone else's fullbring and makes it Bankai.(I.E. The kids video game now affects a lot of people at once instead of just putting two people in a game world.) Now why they want this power(for other then LOL EVIL TAKE OVER THE WORLD reasons) remains to be seen, and I'm sure that either Ginjo or Tsukishima will spill the beans during these fights. In the case that they don't Shishigawara will probably say after the rest of the Fullbringers betray him.
Unfortunately, I'm sure the old man isn't dead. As we've seen already, the video game FB can bring you back to life. I'm sure we'll have the next chapter or two dedicated to Kenpachi finding new and interesting ways to beat the shit out of this dude(and that's ok with me).
I just read this over my phone and I have to ask now. Is Ikkaku a Vice Captain now? I noticed he had an arm band on his shoulder similar to the other Vices.
Inb4 one chapter per fight even though most of the SS fighters should be able to blow away their opponents within seconds.
At least riruka seems ambivalent about what's happening, I guess that means she will prolly come out of this shit alive.

I don't think so, you can get a pretty good look at the thing on his arm on page 14 on the left middle panel and it doesn't look anything like an 11. My take on it is either he has rolled up his sleeve and tucked it in and the symbol is a tatoo on his shoulder or his costume has just been accessorized a bit in a way similar to how Ichigo's new one has.
Accessorizing? Does that mean him and Yumichika finally came out of the closet?
