Why can't subbers just release sub files like .srt instead of having to encode their own versions of the files with hardsubs, that way i could just grab the 720p Raw and load the subfile... god i hate waiting! :P

You know that Funimation uses hardsubs for their stream, right? You can't blame HS for that. They'd have to hire some typists like Commie does if they wanted to release the subs.
Ay, but wouldn't it still be easier, not to mention alot faster, if some people who know how just take the funi/HS subbed ep and make a sub file from it... that would remove alot of the time needed for a release since they don't need to encode the ep or even translate it themselves :/
Meh whatevs, this is all just my wishful thinking because i really do hate waiting for stuff to release in 720p ^^

The hardsubbing is done by Funimation. All HS does is rip their stream. The only way to make a sub file from it would be to have someone watch the episode and type out the subs. That is what Commie does for their releases. They have typists for that purpose.
Edit: There's a group called Anime Out that types out the subs and releases them in mini HD. Maybe you can give them a try.

Well how about that, it appears someone actually released a .ass subfile with the HS subs thats compatible with the 720p raw from [Zero-Raws] ;D

Yeah, funny how it was only released after AOT had already typed them out and released them in their miniHD. >.>
Heh, it did have a bunch of spelling errors tho.. and some pretty annoying font-changes every now and then, but atleast i could watch it with a 400mb 720p raw, awesome video quality was totally worth it :P
Back on topic.. why did Blackbeard run from Akainu, shouldn't he be able to take him down now that he has two uber-strong fruit powers, plus he has his entire crew of freaky strong ex-inmates aswell if things get really sticky >_>

Maybe Blackbeard still doesnt have full control over both the powers? Plus they kinda were on a fire-island, sort of a huge home field advantage to Akainu.
I thought this was weird too, blackbeard is in effect one of the yonkou now and hes running from one admiral... just how strong is akainu that he thought he could attack blackbeards entire crew on his own almost, san juan wolf could probley take out that entire fleet and leave akaninu drowning.
...or Akainu could launch a volley of molten lava at them from a distance.
I think Blackbeards ability to nullify fruit powers should make that fight pretty much a walk. Akainu is no Whitebeard.

Perhaps, but logia alone does not determine the strength of an opponent. Otherwise you wouldn't have Smoker as a lowly captain under the three admirals.
