Did they just introduce a marine above Sengoku? Wtf?
I know Sengoku wants Aiokiji to be Fleet Admiral, but something tells me that the government is going to promote Akainu. He killed Ace after all and he has much of the mindset you expect the WG to want in charge.
Plus, it's makes more dramatic sense to promote the guy that Luffy probably considers an archenemy to the leadership of the marines.
Wouldn't be surprised if Smoker gets promoted to Admiral at some point. They need another Logia in that position.
This is definitely one of those omg-massive-plot-details episodes.
Kong (that guy talking to Sengoku) was the former fleet admiral. He's just retired now.
So now Coby has mantra.
The Supernovas are in the new world.
Th World Government is trying to replace 3 schichibukai.
Smoker is transfering to G5.
Edit: Oh yeah, and apparently Blackbeard caught a supernova

Damn this ep was fucking packed with information, there's almost too much stuff going on at once now, i kinda hope they focus in on one or two things at a time and not jump around between too many things..
But i haven't been disappointed by OP so far so i trust they make it work ^^

Luffy found a good way to boost his fame (or infamy) that didn't require even serious fighting.

That all seems like cover page fodder, and the anime doesn't animate those anymore unfortunately.
i wish they would animate them though, they just had the perfect oppertunity with all the straw hats splitting up to devote 2-3 episodes each to there story, but now they will probly give us 20 episodes of filler...
I dunno man. One Piece hasn't given us an actual filler arc since before Thriller Bark. And that was ages ago now.
It's not like the manga is way ahead either, or ever has been.
Oda seems to keep his pace just frantic enough that the anime never catches up.
Maybe it was already in a previous episode, but I just noticed it in this ep: What is the tattoo on Luffy's right arm? I thought it was the same one as Ace had, but it's different..

wow the anime is really catchin up. Im so glad i started rewatching the series. Nothing makes OP more hype than music and beatiful fluid animation.
Back on topic. I really wanna know if the meteor that takes capone was enel back from the moon or something. It would be interesting if Enel shows up again b/c now we can see that coby has mantra which is simply a form of haki. I think its awesome how Oda leaves sleeper plot points in this show that revive later and make fantasy matchups more interesting.
yeah enel coming back would be crazy, hes got to be one of the strongest villains in the OP universe...
I dunno, Luffy said there's tons of people on the Blue Sea that are Stronger than Enel and that's pretty much proven to be true.
I mean, I'm pretty sure Admiral Kizaru could take Enel pretty easily.
Blackbeard is probably one of, if not THE strongest person in the OP universe right now(from what we've seen so far)... shouldn't the Marines be more worried about him than Luffy? I mean he has the power of Whitebeard's quake fruit AND the darkness fruit, plus he's not exactly as "good" of a guy as Whitebeard seemed to be.. :P
