Synopsis: Hugh Anthony Disward inherits an old mansion and a personal library from his grandfather. In the basement of the mansion, he meets a mysterious girl, Dalian. She is a Dantalian and a gateway to "Dantalian's bookshelf", which stores the prohibited books of the demons.

"Gensho (Illusory Books)", the prohibited books, endanger the balance of the world, but people are fascinated by the taboo. Hugh and Dalian solve the cases involving Gensho with their ability to access the Dantalian bookshelf.

Oh, I've been watching this, Arch. I pretty much watch everything every season except for generic mahou shoujo and yaoi stuff.

I don't really like Dalian over the other loli characters this season. She is way too arrogant and abrasive, even for the usual tsundere. The Lieutenant is awesome though. Not only is he smart, he is really capable in combat, enough to survive through supernatural attacks.

Victorique was not as bad, and she was first. Dalian is almost like a bad copy of her.

All of Victorique's harsh remarks towards Kujou were warranted. Dalian is complaining about every single thing to a guy who is much better in intellect and physical prowess than Kujou.

It just got way too slow as it went on and they never presented any actual answers to why and how everything was developing as it did.
