I think it would be more along the lines of healing his real body because now he is not a spirit but a manga human. Can't say that it is boring, but don't really see where this act is going. It might have been a good idea to end this series at the last act but i think they are going to milk this cow until the milk goes sour and the udders goes dry.

Where is it going you say? I thought it was pretty obvious, Kubo is just starting over--this is the beginning. Shinigami, that's nothing, psh, it's all about the real world.
Kubo Honestly has No Idea where he was going from the start, he just hit the soft reset button added new characters and still has no idea what he will do with them, if this is just a "how I got my powers back" arc before another Shinigami arc, I will punch myself in the face for picking bleach up again after the last arc.
On side note, I thought these people DIDN'T have Reiatsu and now they are talking like they do have it?
I fail to believe that these people have hidden their identity from Soul Society all this time. Somehow they are blocking SS from coming in or having contact with our band of merry men.

Who says they don't know about them? As long as they stay out of their way it should be fine. Quincy's however did get in their way by destroying souls. So far these people haven't done so. And all the commotion they cause on Earth is their problem not SS.
