Hahahah! That ending of Episode 2, the look on Lana's face, just priceless. He couldn't even touch the liquor. xD

That ending car-ride home was epic levels of awkward :P
I seriously thought Archer would like, snap Lucas neck or something to prevent him saying what he did to him lol

This week's was definitely the best so far. It finally felt like the season got into its stride.
All the characters were at their best.
Fixing Ray was obviously going to happen one way or another, but Krieger always makes it better.
I had to rewatch the Wind Cries Mary episode to fully appreciate it, whereas Legs was amazing on first viewing.
I think they're trying too hard to cram some of the characters into scenes where their involvement seems forced and their lines are a little cliched. Otherwise, the series is going well considering it's in its fourth season.
For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?
Latest episode Viscous Coupling is awesome, will be a classic. Archer is in perfect form, and all the side characters were used tastefully and purposefully. Best episode this season so far.

Here's hoping I don't jinx it, but the last 3 episodes have been awesome. Glad to hear it's been renewed, if they can continue going strong.

amazing episode, might be a season favorite.
what does the "bumper" thing mean? I guess it's TV-related, but Wiki says nothing about it.
sig made by Itachi-y2k5, thanks, dude!
Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.
You know the important distinction between Batman and me? Batman is fictional. In real life, there isn't always an alternative.

I want so much to be excited for more Archer, but I just don't see the humor in some of these promos. When I saw the Top Gun (what do you call it, a spoof, a parody, a homage?) promo I thought it was funny, but after seeing it a few times I don't really see how it's clever or funny. I think it's suffering from a dearth of creativeness, or over-used gags and characterizations that are growing stale. Watching the first 2 seasons is so much different (better, funnier, more witty) from the 3rd and 4th seasons.

I watched the series this Summer and fucking loved it, glad to finally watch it as it airs. New season begins on my b-day too, so it better be awesome.
S05E01 is out~~~~
Why is this episode only 19 minutes?!!?1??!?! Time to not watch this all season and marathon it later.

Good episode, though I'm concerned with the scenery change. Not having the ISIS building as the backdrop will hurt the show, as it was central to a lot of the hilarity and situations in previous seasons. Krieger has the best lines in the show and the interrogation scenes are the best part of the show.
I wonder if the 5 minute montage at the end of the show was just an extended daydream or a preview of upcoming episodes.

It's probably necessary at this point, but some of the best and funniest scenes occurred in the ISIS building involving the ladies' room, mainframe room, Krieger's lab, and Malory's office. It reminds me a lot of what happened with Children's Hospital. Great series, then they moved location in season 3 and the writing was terrible. How can you have a hospital show without the hospital? Hopefully Archer doesn't suffer from the change of scenery.

Archer isn't funny because of the setting, it's funny because of the writers! I'm sure they can figure it out.

The setting matters. What's a spy agency without a super secret spy headquarters?
One thing I noticed about the comedy in Archer is that it's changed from clever little quick-witted comments to just outright craziness. The timing of jokes is what I really miss. Watch the early episodes, small pauses and quick responses made minor jokes into hilarious ones. Now the characters just say weird shit which is still funny, just not clever funny.
