I enjoyed the new episode, though I agree with DBZ about the excessive Burt Reynolds hype.

    Carol/Cheryl is my favorite character.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

I agree too. But after watching the ep the second time, it was less jarring.

2nd episode. Cyrill figures out claims for action. (not pun, just retarded).

did anyone watch the 'archersaurous' pilot? it's episode 1, but with a dinosaur!

sig made by Itachi-y2k5, thanks, dude!
Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.

I felt the same way with the second viewing. Weird, but I'm finding that I'm disappointed with first viewings of this show, but the magic shines in the second showing. I may be expecting too much or too excited to catch all the glory with the first viewing, leaving me unsatisfied.

He made the reference at the start of the show when they're having the field agent meeting. When Malory says Cyrill is now a field agent, Archer mentions having to return through the Stargate, joking that he must be in an alternate universe/world if Cyrill is now a field agent.

Latest episode was awesome. I like Carol's ocelot as a recurring character. The racial references were crude but added to the charm. I think it's hilarious that Ray now fulfills the dual purpose of allowing them to make homophobic and handicap insensitive jokes. The Jewish black guy from "Diversity Hire" is one of my favorite guest characters.

Yeah. This episode was easily the best of the (regular) season so far (the first of the pirate three-parter was just as good). This just felt right. Horribly intensive jokes, Archer not taking his job seriously, Mallory defending herself yet totally unrepentant after someone accuses her of something, Pam and Carol being...Pam and Carol, etc. Basically everyone in ISIS being their usual terrible selves, but somehow still managing to accomplish their jobs.

I loved the last scene with archer and the ocelot in the cruiser, "yes all of it! you fox eared asshole!"

haha archer arguing with the ocelot was hilarious.

"if you believe the illegitimate government of Canada!"
    "which we do"

loved the part where the terrorist wants a hostage and they point to the handicapped guy.

A buddy at work thinks they'll eventually turn Ray into a supervillain character after years of abuse about his handicap from the others. I think they put him in the wheelchair as a pretext to make jokes about handicapped people.

Yeah, it would be pretty awesome to see him as the butt of handicap jokes. Like they should be exempt from jokes because they were careless. Prima donnas.

I didn't really feel the latest episode, if you feel what I'm saying. I have to go watch it a second time to get a better feel for it. Some good quickie jokes and comebacks though.

not a big fan of badass Pam angle. I thought the A-plot with the Yakuza was kind of a miss, especially with all the car chase CGI.

Archer as a neglected birthday boy was golden.

Same here, the Pam with the hardcore side doesn't work for me. I prefer her as the non-PC HR manager/blabbermouth with the large sexual appetite. Though I did like the episode where she's mistakenly kidnapped as a Tunt and shows her marbles while she's getting tortured, but that episode was awesome altogether.
