Something tells me Kotetsu's powers are evolving in the wrong direction.
I think it's okay as long as it doesn't go below 2 minutes. It would give him some tactical weakness and advantages, but that also makes him more of a complement to Bunny.

The episode kinda reminds me of episode 20 of Outlaw Star, which was produced by Sunrise, too.

And he had an orange glow around him much like Kotetsu did last episode, which leads me to believe that whatever changes are happening to our hero were occurring or at some point happened to Martinez as well.

Well, that was heartwarming. I'm glad Kotetsu finally found his resolve and didn't become a Mr. Legend. His resignation may be a potential death-flag, though. I hope I'm wrong here.
The way he lifted and threw that tree after running out of time may indicate something. But adrenaline can really do wonders in those kind of situation so maybe it's just that.
And they will really try put in Scarf-tan no matter what.
