I'd like to know the answer to the first question as well (to build suspense, perhaps? His power is one-hit kill otherwise, and that would be kinda boring). I don't see why you even bothered asking the second question. Hold a knife (that you can't throw) and ride a motorcycle against your enemy. What else can you do?
What I want to know is why Storm seemingly has a limit to her powers while the others don't. Is that normal? Do the others have limits too, only that we haven't encountered them?
I've only ever seen Origins: Wolverine, so I'm kind of in the dark here. I'll probably give the movies a spin later since I have them lying around somewhere.
PS: Storm is hot, voice and all. More so in her X-men suit than the casual/swimwear too.

Ah, you misunderstood, it was all one question. It was "Why do you mount all the ranged weapons on the bike of the guy with deathrays instead of the bike of the guy who only has claws."
I think this might be the first time I've ever thought Storm was hot. Maybe it's the lack of other female characters so far, but I usually find Storm to be the least attractive member of the X-Men.
Maybe I'm secretly racist.
But yeah, she is super hot in this.
Well technically Cyclops' power is a kinetic blast, its a huge concussive force, not really a laser that most people think. I also loved the first episode where Beast introduced the squid for the classroom.
As to Storm being weak after using her powers, I'm guessing it has something to do with the technology or whatever the "U-Men" are using to shield Prof X and the device Beast was using to detect mutants in the area. Maybe they've already gotten hold of Leech and putting up a dampening field or something.
And most my knowledge of X-Men comes from the 90s Saturday morning show on Fox, which the first 3 seasons is remarkably true to X-Men cannon.
So is anyone else here actually a regular reader of X-Men comics?
Granted. Though you wouldn't know it from the way it disintegrated those U-Men.
Although technically, his eyes are actually dimensional portals to a dimension of pure kinetic energy.
A.K.A. http://www.loltech.org/blog/wp-conte...3472117792.jpg
Cyclops' powers are always on when his eyes are open, the goggles just prevent it from shooting, he actually has to press a button on it for it to fire, they also don't travel instantly so he can miss.
Might as well shoot rockets and lasers without having to worry about crashing.

U-men: for ones so extraordinarily smart, they are unbelievably stupid. Unless they're super-rich and have facilities across the globe, there's no way a little data is worth such a lab. (And lol at all the robots coming out towards the end, instead of protecting the place). The core X-men should have been around long enough for them to learn of their abilities from case studies anyway.
And not enough Storm.

Really translators? Celebro?
Knowing that "That guy has eye beams and that guy regenerates and has claws" is probably not the same thing as letting their computers analyze their powers first hand.
They'll probably use the information to make their cyborgs immune to their powers, or grow some kind of supermutant that has their abilities or whatever.
I wonder if that ambiguously brown U-Man is supposed to be Forge.

No episode this week? Or is the series over already?

Haha, Scott Summers going full jackass. Love it.
Haha, Scott Summers going full jackass. Hate it.
Then again, I have always hated Cyclops.
Peace.
Seems kind of out of character to me. Then again, its been so long since I've read a comic, so many things have probably changed.
So where exactly does your characterization of Cyclops come from then? The 90s cartoon? The movies?
Here's a good thing to keep in mind when trying to visualize Scott Summers as he has been characterized in the comics for over a decade now:
The line between Cyclops and Magneto is extremely fine.
lol, poor birds. Is it winter? Or is it spring? Goddamnit!!
I like Cyclops here more so than I used to (I hated him a bit) manly because of character design.
Using more concrete descriptions Darth, how would you describe Cyclops?
