Thread: Scene for Acting Class

    Scene for Acting Class

I'm taking an acting for camera class, and we have to choose a scene to do. The scene will be 3 - 7 minutes long. The scene has to have an "event" meaning it can't just be expositional.

My partner (a guy) and I were thinking about doing something from an anime. But WHAT anime? WHAT scene?

Any ideas? This could possibly be epic.

(Movie and play ideas are also acceptable)

Something from KareKano would be amazing.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

Oh my, you've never seen Karekano?? Have you heard or it at least? I'm a man's man, but I love that anime. You'll really have to watch it to get scene ideas. The first episode alone should give you some material to work with.

Kare Kano is amazing indeed. go for it.

I'd suggest something from a Kevin Smith movie - heavy on dialog and contemporary.

sig made by Itachi-y2k5, thanks, dude!
Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.

You know the important distinction between Batman and me? Batman is fictional. In real life, there isn't always an alternative.

I'd go with the "wedding" scene from ToraDora, it's cute and doesn't require much context.

Nah, you know what? Something from Spice and Wolf would be effing fabulous.

Please don't ever do that again or I will take it personally.

this scene from Ghost in the Shell:

    this from Death Note:

or maybe this scene from Cowboy Bebop:
(a bit too short though) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OSBy...eature=related
