[Archangel]

The story follows the strongest juvenile delinquent, Oga Tatsumi, he is a first year in Ishiyama High, the school for delinquents. The story starts as he is telling the story of how he found the baby to his best (and only) friend Furuichi Takayuki. One day while fishing by the river (actually, taking revenge on people trying to kill him in his sleep), he sees a man floating down it, he pulls him to shore and the man splits in half revealing a baby boy. This boy is the son of the demon king and he has been chosen as the one to raise it with the baby's maid Hilda. The story follows his life with the child and at the delinquent school. The early chapters of the manga follow Oga as he attempts to 'pass on' Baby Beel to other students at Ishiyama, (The theory is that if Oga can find someone more evil and stronger than him, Baby Beel will attached to that person instead of Oga). After subsequently fighting and defeating all members of the Touhoushinki and in the process, destroying Ishiyama High itself, Oga and company are transferred to Saint Ishiyama Academy, which appears to be a direct opposite of the delinquent school.

The manga is the best shit ever, assuming the studio doesn't fuck up I think I'll thoroughly enjoy watching this.

The soundtrack at least seems to be very fitting, and the animation is better than what i would expect out of a show like this.

Assuming they don't fuck up the humor i think we have a winner here.

I'm not sure if I was planning to watch this or not, but it was a slow morning.

Shizuka Itou fits Hilda perfectly, nice to see Konishi Katsuyuki (Kamina, Ozma Lee) in a badass role again, the rest of the cast is good, and even Beel has some good range of noises thanks to Sawashiro Miyuki. The animation is overall good, and like Arch said the soundtrack fits (I didn't really notice it, which is a good sign to me).

Lukewarm for me at the moment. For overall an already silly show, they kinda made the fights even more childish and silly with Batman-like effects and shitty aura colors. I was expecting the action here to look completely badass, but at the moment they're failing.

Still early, let's see how the rest goes.

This show was ok for me too, nothing really special so far.

I kinda felt like that overused that shocking joke. I might be wrong but I don't remember Beel crying that often in the manga and i was honestly a bit tired of it by the end of the episode.

The baby crying every other minute was starting to get on my nerves, and so Oga teaching him that real men won't cry for every little thing was heaven... umm... hell sent.

I hope something happens between Hilda and Oga, especially since Hilda used such a ruse. But then again, I'm always hoping something happens between guys and girls in any series...
