No praise for Yumeji? I personally find Yumeji to be an awesome male lead. This guy really has some backbone, his conviction to help a stranger get back home in his no-emo, upbeat attitude. And the courage to carry it through despite some intense situations, unlike another lead this season ....*Ahem*Madoka*Ahem*.
As for the show, the story hasn't really hooked me yet, but its getting better. I can see a lot of plot lines converging, Treesea, lighthouse demon, John Doe, Mysterious transfer student, rice eating sensei, pre-amnesia Merry, Play and someone else mentioned poem dude as well. So far these threads are independently building up, but I feel that DEM will start getting awesome once these threads start to interweave. I for one will definitely be tagging along for the ride to see what happens. Just seeing the interaction between Yumeji and Merry, that in itself is well worth the time invested.
