It's been awhile since I've completed a banner (although I have attempted many). I'm still a little shaky with the overall product, but the idea was asked for (though I don't remember by whom), so I proudly present a Mirai Nikki banner. It probably needs a lot of improvement, so if anyone thinks they can do something better, I can send the render to you. Feedback is also appreciated.

As for my thoughts on the banner Alhuin, I quite like it. (I'm viewing it on very low brightness screen so the pic is darker) I think you use this 'cloud' effect way too much, though. I'd like to see something different?

I agree with Bill, whatever made that scene so memorable in the anime isn't there. If it isn't there, there's no point in using that as a render.
I'd scratch the project entirely if i was you.

I see what you all mean though... It was something I figured I'd try since I obtained the render. I knew it didn't look as "crazy" as the shot in the anime, but I contributed that to the atmosphere and the music.
As for the "cloud" effect... I understand what you're getting at, but it's not an intentional move for every piece. Most of the time, the background I use has fog in it, or is a space picture (viewing the atmosphere). Sometimes I still use sky backgrounds. I've tried using city backgrounds, but I haven't found the right render to compliment that. But anyways... it's not that I'm not trying something different, it's just the effect seems to present itself consistently.
