I don't understand why Naruto needs some long fillers. The manga is so far away already.
I mean, look at how close Bleach anime and manga right now.
My guess is that the Bleach producers plan on giving us heaps of filler once the manga has ended. Their end game is more seasons of crap filler.
Naruto's end game is to stretch the main arc out as long as possible, stuffing filler in every crack or nook possible. Frankly I haven't watched a filler episode of either in a while. I just come here, see if others are suffering, and move on if I perceive screaming and gnashing of teeth.
I thought i read somewhere that Kubo said Bleach was only halfway done..
Anyhoo.. anyone got any idea when Naruto jumps back to canon?

A new ED from Aqua Timez starts with episode 193 and will probably run for 12 or 13 episodes. I'm guessing around episode 205 or 206, we'll get a new OP + ED and get back to the canon material. The current OP doesn't have any canon material in it, so I think every episode until the next OP will be filler.

That makes me a saaaaad pandaI really hope that it goes back to kannon soon. My buddy is trying his best to bite his tongue and not spoil the series for me cause he is reading the manga. I have to punch him ever time I see that spoiler twinkle in his eye. I would read the manga... but common I have watched Naruto from day 1! I think some time in 2004-2005. Whats the point in reading the manga now...

On an unrelated, or perhaps related note,
This episode also wasn't terrible.
Filler TenTen continues to be better than Canon TenTen.
I maintain it's due to the absence of Naruto himself. Whenever they make a filler without his presence, it ends up considerably more tolerable.
