How come in Bankai mode, He has to call his Zanpakuto "Tensa Zangetsu"?
I thought every other Bankai was called by the one name. Is Ichigo's Sword special that it needs 2 names now or am I missing something?

The name is always different for Bankai, as far as I remember it is generally just another word added on. Byakuya's sword is, Shikai: Senbonzakura vs Bankai: Senbonzakura Kageyoshi.Originally Posted by Shadow Skill
This would be the name he would call out when he goes Bankai, though I think they've dropped the whole saying the name thing in most situations, it is probably intended that the viewer assumes it happens but they are saving time by not showing it.
