Ok, who else loled at the final page?
I know, seriously? I loled in the beginning as well. The way he was supposed to call back was just so dumb. Again, Kubo can't write.

It's possible Kubo forgot about Kisuke, at least for the time being. This wouldn't be beneath him.
is it just me, or did Kubo realize he messed up with the execution spelling ans is trying to weasel himself out (page 15)?
I guess the repeated phone-calls were just for them to take control over his cellphone and make long-distance calls on his expense, EVIL!
poor Chad, Kubo forgot how to draw him, and now he's unseen, although, probably was taken in by the opposing group, and will later turn out to be playing against the team.
honestly, even if these guys turn out to be really good and angels who just truly wanted to help Ichigo, I wouldn't trust them. but Ichigo does.

Maybe kubo will attempt to make one of these new faces he's drawing backed with a little personality. Preferably one that doesnt completely suck.
AHAHAHAHAHAH. What on earth lead you to believe that it even might be good? Kubo might even have a good idea, but he can't execute on it. He may start good, but as he goes along he will trap himself in a corner he can't creatively write himself out of, then he will deus ex machina it away or just ignore the problem and never come back to it.

I think you're both wrong about misspelling execution on Kubo's part. Rather, I believe he was trying to be very clever. "X Cution? Golly gee, what's that? I wonder what it stands for" Then suddenly on pg. 16 you see the two Es inserted in there. "Oh my goodness, it spells execution! I never saw that coming"

Hm...I guess you didn't understand what I was trying to say. Think about the hint "trying to be clever." If your native language was Japanese, maybe something like XCution might be cryptic. Then when Kubo added the Es it all made sense to you. I think this is what Kubo was going for as opposed to just having spelled it incorrectly. But maybe I am just an idiot and you're right, spelling error.
