So...yeah...it's pretty obvious Mr. 3 disguised himself as one of the executioners.
Apparently, sheer toughness can even protect you from getting hit by lava.
I don't recall the Marco and Kizaru fight playing out like that in the manga....
Since Marco ate the phoenix fruit, he should be able to recover easily from the holes in his chest. That's bullshit.

Maybe Marco has to be in his bird form, or at least partial bird form for the regeneration.
i think they had to take liberties with the way the fights played out, assertn i dont want to spoil but do you think they swapped the lava to the chest of white beard for the other thing he gets so that they can animate it? or do you think the other thing is still to come?
Nah I looked it up. Its all pretty much accurate, although perhaps a little more stretched out.

One thing I don't remember happening is those Pacifista being taken down by noname Whitebeard pirates. Makes the Pacifista seem kind of weak...
Also, Kizaru hurting Marco in that instant isn't that odd either. A pheonix can regenerate but it is not supposed to be invulnerable. The damage he suffered there due to the momentary lapse is probably a bit more serious and takes a bit longer to recover from.
That happened too, but it was like one or two small panel. This episode was pretty much chapter 568 so i recommend people go read it again.
The thing about the manga was that this arc happened so fast and so chaotic with 100 things going on at the same times that it's hard to remember which is which. The anime is pretty consistent so far except things are a bit more stretched out.
If Pacifista's got beaten by rookies that hadn't even made it to the New World yet, I would say that it is fairly reasonable for pirates from the New World to be able to do it too.
Also any pirate still alive at this point is clearly not "fodder", right?
I'm kinda curious (not a OP manga reader), is that little bit about Sengoku and Garp VS Shiki cannon? It kinda seems pointless to have more movie tie-ins at this point, so I have to assume that he is a real, possibly significant character. If so, I never would have guessed.
Well the chapter Oda made for the movie (episode 0) fits the canon and support everything mentioned in the story so far. I would be incline to say that Oda fully intended for that chapter to be canon since it's very consistent with the whole story. The movie itself should really be treated as such since no one will mention anything even remotely related to it.
Kishi is a character Oda already thought of before the movie even got announced, he was mentioned as the only person to ever escape impel down in the conversation between Garp and Sengoku (chapter 530).

The stuff about Shiki was mentioned in the manga, and the actual fight was shown in a tangent manga mini-arc, although really the whole thing was pretty much thrown in by Oda to support the movie he helped write.
