Shinryaku! Ika Musume
"Squid Girl has come to the land from the depths of the sea to conquer humanity for its pollution of the ocean. Unfortunately she ruins the first house she uses as an invasion base and has to work to pay for repairs. Of course, she can't overcome the Aizawa sisters who manage the house, so who knows whether she can subjugate humankind." -ANN

This was, for an unknown reason, actually a series I paid attention to when the first lists of the autumn shows appeared. Maybe because it sounded so stupid. And it ended up being pretty stupid as well, but fortunately on purpose. The Squid Girl is quite an airhead, even if also pretty capable whenever she actually tries something, so the invasion success probability doesn't seem too high but I'm sure a lot of stuff will happen in the story nevertheless. It's a very light series, which also seems to apply to the production values, so a (Minami-Ke) warning of not expecting too much from it would have been appropriate.
The main role is voice acted by Hisako Kanemoto (Kanata Sorami of Sora no Woto), who seems to be quite new to voice acting without too many roles. But she's supported by veterans like of Ayumi Fujimura (Misaki of Kaichou) and Rie Tanaka (Sammy of Eve no Jikan).
I'll keep watching for now. Fulfills the silly show of the season quota.
Edit: I suggest choosing the FFFPeeps version. I watched the EMO release (which was out first) and I had to edit the font styling and remux to make the subs bearable.
