Movie: Walk Hard, the Dewey Cox Story

This is an awesome movie. It's funny and clever and has a slew of cameos that really contribute to the story instead of just being random. This movie should have done better at the box office and made everyone in it a star.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

Yea, it was hilarious and pretty clever. I am surprised it didn't do better.

I don't remember seeing much promotion or commercial fanfare for this movie so it flew in under the radar. It had a lot of big names in cameo roles and was written by Judd Apatow (his usual cast of buddies make the cameos), but the main characters probably weren't big enough to carry the movie to success, which sucks since it's a great movie.

I absolutely love John C. Reilly. He's one of the most hilarious and talented actors out there in the biz and although this was a stupid funny movie, I still found it to be well done as far as stupid funny movies go.
