I also forgot his Bankai is basically pure speed. But I don't think that all he did was fully mastering his Bankai. Think he has his second hollow for under control as well now.

By the way. Did anyone catch excess dialogue in this chapter. Kubo really outdid himself. I think I saw a paragraph once in there. He even almost got 200 words in this chapter. This post is only 56 words long.

It was sort of obvious that Ichigo showed up with his uber tired out dad on his shoulder, and Aizen fused the two seperate Hyou shiny stones beforehand.
Therefore 'explaining' to Gin why The Hyou shiny shine obeys only him.
Yeah but how does he know Uruhara's one isn't more powerful but just lying dormant? It could be Uruhara didn't want to activate his one, and still hasn't done so for whatever reason but could decide to do so at a later point.
Could Uruhara's bankai have something to do with it? I remember way back when Chad was supposed to get training with a Bankai but Uruhara refused to use his one, and asked Renji to use his Bankai instead, saying his own was not suitable for this kind of thing. As we still have not seen Uruhara's bankai yet, there could be a plot twist waiting right there.
Don't try to make sense of things. Just keep reminding yourself that Kubo is writing this crap.
True, and since Ichigo's dad has been reduced to fodder as well might as well stop thinking anything in this manga will make sense.
I set up my brain so that every time Kubo does put words on this manga instead of random lines it forgets all that it reads by the following page, that way i can keep my sanity.
